Here's the place for everyone to share any ideas or suggestions they may have concerning Daytime Royalty. Is there any way we can improve your DR experience? |

Maybe we could use a Rumor Mill Thread. A place for anything that doesn't have an official source could be put because the news/spoiler thread is getting over run with random rumors that people find and think we all need to know about it. |

Hi, two ideas: - I know this is a 'known issue' and that it's because of zetaboards but I still really miss the thread reply notification emails. - Also, I understand that the multiple actor blog threads were getting to be too much, but I'm finding the one "actor/writer blogs" thread a little unwieldy. I was thinking perhaps that the one actor/writer thread could be monthly (all actor/writer blog posts for July, etc), OR, that there could be one thread per actor which would be updated each time the actor posts. ("The Dena Higley blog thread".) Thanks! Edited by Ellie, Jun 13 2008, 03:18 PM.

I like the monthly blog idea. We could do it just like the casting calls. |

I don't think you should say this is a no holds barred place, because that isn't the truth. My experience is that is is the truth as long as you agree with the moderators or long term members. When you don't you are racked over the coals. I have seen posted here the opinion that Daniel Jonas is a pedophile. Those exact words were used. I didn't say anything about it - in spite of the fact it is inaccurate - it's just an opinion. When I post that Kate is a prostitute - which is accurate as to history of the character - I'm asked to prove it or not post. Isn't that a double standard? And then, I'm accused of potentially attacking someone by saying I find this place to be very clickish but the thread is closed before I can respond? Even though I was attacked and called Sarah Palin? Is that following your rules? It is not very friendly, fair or accurate to do these things. If we are allowed to say whatever we want about our favorite or least favorite characters - that rule should be in place for everyone - not just for some people. How can you have a thread on one section asking what would make people spend more time here but if you question anything your told on another thread (the closes one) to go away if you don't like it? None of this makes much sense to me at all. It all is pretty biased. |

Are you familiar with the "Report A Post" feature? If you are not comfortable with that, you can always PM Kenny, Rick, Rhiannon, or myself if you have any other problems or complaints. We can not do anything about it if we are not informed of it. We try to keep up on the threads and debates, but it is hard. If you have any other concerns about the situation, feel free to PM. :) Edited by King, Sep 7 2008, 10:23 PM.

I don't know what happened to some of the skins we used to have but I was using Sync and really liked it. Can we have it back? |

Love the new banner on Diamond in the Rocks. Thanks to whoever. My suggestion is - please stop changing things around. Old minds like mine don't like the constant change. I get used to it and then it changes and I can't find stuff. Also did the Dungeon go bye bye. I can't find it at all. |

I hate that. It was one of the most unique things about the DR. And one of the main reasons I came here and joined. Oh well. Hopefully they had a good reason. |

That's a shame. It was definitely an innovative feature on this board, in a purely entertaining, voyeuristic, no-big-deal kinda way. I can see where something like that might lead to bigger issues on the web, unfortunately. Still, it was always good for a late night peruse. (He humbly admits) And beyond the picture threads, it was nice that DR was so open-minded as to be able to discuss sexuality in an open-forum without judgment. But then again, I would think eventually, that leads to someone wanting to get laid over the 'web, and suddenly you're in a whole courtroom full of trouble. Although it would make for a hell of a Sweeps story... ROFLMAO!!! Here's a suggestion - don't put the "report" and "quote" buttons next to each other. LOL! I can't tell you how many times I end up reporting a post, instead of replying to it. Of course, that could just be my own stupidity. :-D |

The only way to separate the Report and Quote buttons would be to remove the Report button completely and that's not really an option. All that can be suggested right now is to double check when your posting that your actually quoting a post and not reporting it. It's nice to see that this thread is getting some action though..... :D |
