Daniel is making no sense whatsoever. Its as if he wants Chelsea but is avoiding her so that he can refrain from hurting her. Its annoying to not understand what direction this going in.

I doubt Higley and the rest of the writing staff have any idea where it's going, either.

Just finished watching today's show...

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Any scenes with Max or Stephanie instantly bore and annoy the piss out of me. First segment, they're in bed sleeping and Max wakes up. Second segment, Max gets out of bed and leaves. Third segment, Stephanie wakes up and wonders where Max is. Couldn't they have done all that in the first segment, rather than stretching it out for half the episode? It screams "filler!"

Lucas and Chloe are pointless. Who cares if Lucas took his tracking device off? I mean, so what if he did? Nothing's gonna come of it, anyway. Besides, what WAS the point of him taking the ankle monitor off and going to the docks in the first place? There was no reason for it, right? So... uh... WHAT WAS THE FUCKING POINT!? Also, did Dattillo get new dentures or something? He looked like Mr. Ed today with those giant front teeth.

Sami and Roman at the Brady Pub... zzzzzzzz. The Sami/Lucas/EJ thing is so played out, I couldn't have possibly cared less about Sami blabbering on and on and on about them to daddy. Roman looked equally as disinterested.

The heath issue with Kate seems random and pointless. Who gives a shit whether or not Daniel operates on her? Who gives a shit about Daniel, period? Is it possible for an entire storyline to be filler?

Oooh, then there was EJ/Nicole/Victor. What's up with Nicole's random 180?! All this time, she's been money hungry and craving a big settlement from Victor, then all of a sudden she softens with EJ and decides that money's no longer that important? Pssh! This REEKS of "story flopped horribly so a quick wrap-up was ordered." Could the resolution have possibly been more anti-climatic or pointless? Classic Higley fizzler.

Finally, why the hell were Steve/Kayla even on today's episode? Stephen and Mary Beth must feel completely wasted when they have to spend half the show re-hashing the stories of other characters. I already don't care about Stephanie/Max -- I certainly don't need to hear Steve and Kayla blabbering on about them, too. I'm sick of the STAX pimping!

This whole show is shit.

Ooh, oh! There was one interesting thing in today's episode that I forgot to mention in the post above: Nicole/Dean Robbins. As soon as I saw him approach her outside the Brady Pub, I assumed that he was one of the men who molested her when her father forced her into underage porn. Perhaps we'll finally get to see the darker side of Dean. I hope so! Roscoe Borne does the "creepy" thing so well... a little too well, if you ask me.

Tomorrow's episode was MUCH better! The story with Nicole and the Dean progresses further! There was a lot less filler.

What if Daniel is the reason his late wife died? What if, somehow, he botched the surgery and that guilt is one of the reasons he keeps loved ones at arms length -- the woman he loves is his dead wife. And Kate found out about it and *that's* why she doesn't want him to do her surgery -- because it's the same proceedure!

Just a theory.

Or maybe Dena Higley just sucks and his pulling stuff out of her ass? Which by the way is a much more logical thought LOL.

With that said, I am actually interested in this Trent/Nicole connection for now. And you know I like Lucas with Chloe, but personally he would be great with Ava if he was written true to his character

The whole Daniel/Chelsea storyline is crap. He says one minute that he is taking steps to put her out of his life and the next minute he is asking her out on a damn date. I don't get it. I loved that look Victor gave Daniel when he over heard him asking Chelsea out on a date. I think he knows something about Daniels past or suspects something.

The whole Max being smart storyline is kind of stupid, I don't like it. Stephanie and Nick looking for him, last time I checked Max is an adult, I know that is questionable, leave him alone he will come and find you if he wants to talk.

I love the Victor and Chelsea relationship, Victor needs a grand daughter to spoil.

The Trent and Nicole storyline is interesting, but I will hold off judging it until I see more of it.

The EJ/Sami and Lucas/Chloe storyline is just ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

After all... tomorrow is another day!

Random thoughts on today's show:

If you can't tell from the clips I chose for this week, I LURVED the Victor-Nicole-EJ scenes in today's episode. I love the Kiriakis Mansion being back and I love Nicole and Victor sharing scenes. I wish they would have gotten more of them together as this divorce storyline unfolded. Also thought the EJ-Victor interaction was sooooo much better written/executed than that comedic encounter they had at the hospital in last Friday's eppy.

Why can't Stephanie and Nick send Max off to anger management classes and have some fun themselves? I'm so tired of those two stuck wasting all their airtime worrying about whether MadMax needs a nap, a feeding or his diaper changed. I know he's pissed off but the apartment ransacking was way OTT for me. I'm not sure if I am totally wanting a Stick romance, but I very much enjoy their friendship scenes and how their relationship has changed and I'd much rather watch a Beauty and the Geek falling in love over time story than whatever the hell this Stax story is. And they did look cute together standing in the hospital window.

Which reminds me... Oh look Kayla and Steve are holding their baby. I had started to forget they were on the show. And I realize now it doesn't matter to me whether they are on the show or not as much as I *want* to like and care deeply about these characters and as much as I respect the actors. They can leave now and hand over their airtime to Tanna or Bope any day now.

Kate/Daniel or Chelsea/Daniel... it's all zzzzzzzzzzz to me, unfortunately.

Why is Sami dressed as a stewardess? That's almost as ridiculous as Sami thinking she and EJ should let Lucas dictate which of them are allowed to live in the DiMera Mansion. I mean it's not just that EJ DIMERA is being asked to move out of the DIMERA Mansion to accommodate a BRADY and HORTON that pisses me off. The idea that any convict could waltz into the home of his attempted murder victim, after said victim was instrumental in securing his release from prison, and set up residence in a home in which he has no marriage or blood relation to explain why he is there and demand his shooting victim move out of the house is fantastically contrived even for Days.

It's insane writing like this that makes it impossible for me to ever like Lucas, though I was able to tolerate the Chloe-Lucas scenes today. The jury is still out on those two for this viewer, though they don't fill me with irrational, seething hostility the way that Lucas and Sami do whenever they're on the screen together so I guess that's something.

It is annoying though this show keeps ramming Lucas and Sami will love each other forever and ever down my throat yet Lucas can't tell Sami the truth about his trip to the docks and Sami can't be honest to Lucas that she wants EJ to stay in the mansion or at least thinks he deserves to stay there because she has to protect Lucas's delicate sensibilities and walk on eggshells and coddle him by shitting all over EJ to avoid Old Yeller's wrath. GMAFB.

And Roman's questioning about Sami and whether she has any feelings for EJ was ridiculous. Given that Roman ALREADY KNOWS Sami had sex with EJ, basically that question amounted to Roman asking his daughter whether she is a slut. Damn this storyline would be better if they were going to have EJami have sex and then drag this the fuck out with EJ and Sami not being together yet people questioning Sami whether she wanted to be with EJ that EJ and Sami had reached some understanding to keep it a secret from Lucas and her family. Because right now there is no dramatic tension when everyone knows EJ and Sami fucked and they're all sitting around trying to press her into either admitting she slept with EJ because of "some feelings" or trying to help her paper over this incident and chalk it up to being a bitch in heat so she can get back her twuwuv4evr Lucas.

I am glad the show FINALLY, like a month later, let EJ confront Sami about how ridiculous she was avoiding him. Of course they had to interrupt that much-needed conversation with Sami interrupting to share her ridiculous expectation that EJ should be OK with moving out of the mansion at the behest of the new tenant with the Napoleon complex. And what's more... they end this scene without anything resolved yet in reading the spoilers for tomorrow I see there is no continuation of this scene at all. Dumb.

Lastly, the Nicole and Trent scenes were OK and I probably would've liked them more had I not spent time looking at old YouTube clips of Nicole last night and found more gripping and more creepy (and also more interesting) scenes where some crazy bastard named Jay showed up at Nicole's place and nearly raped her at knifepoint before Knight in Shining Armor Eric saved the day. Now I am worried we will see the same sexual victimization of Nicole, which I have absolutely no interest in. I'm also scared the show could use this as a way to push EJ and Nicole together the same way it did Eric and Nicole, which would wind up so loathesome it would pretty much make me hostile to EJole, which to this point despite my EJami-shipping heart I do have the capacity to appreciate and at times enjoy. Even if they put Phillip in the Eric role it still wouldn't be much better. About the only other option I can think of for this story though is maybe somehow Trent and Nicole are married and him showing up and being revealed as Nicole's ex could somehow gum up the works of her divorce settlement from Victor.

I can't believe how much I was gushing about this show a month ago.

GET EM STEPH!!

I don't know how to feel about today's episode, or the show for that matter, which is telling considering usually I can come in here and have an overall positive outlook or open mind. I enjoyed half of today and the other half was just frustrating.

Let me start with the parts I disliked so I can end on a positive note. First off, the Lucas/Sami/EJ thing has to go. It's bad enough it took them nearly a month to have EJ and Sami discuss having sex and Lucas catching them but then they have to go and have Sami and Lucas act like they have any right to tell EJ to get out of a home that belongs to his family. Yeah, ok. Stupid. Then, we have Sami and Roman having the same damn talk we've heard her have with him and others over and over again for a year now about EJ and her feelings. Seriously, Sami and Lucas are a mess right now and the only reason why EJ isn't is because he interacts with Nicole and others. Both characters need major repair and I can barely watch them. The only think I liked from them today was the scene where Lucas stopped Sami from eavesdropping. That was fun but, other then that, terrible. Lucas/Chloe is a nice idea but it's so forced with how they are doing it. I understand Chloe wanting to make amends but Lucas wouldn't take to her as quickly as he seems by how he is acting and I still am not 100% sure why Chloe chose Sami and Lucas the first two people on her "make amends through making friends" tour (wow, that rhymed, sometimes I even surprise myself  ). Their scenes were ok and I like Chloe outsmarting Lucas. Perhaps it will get better in time because I do see some chemistry but so far, not liking it well enough.

Also, what the hell was the deal with Roman saying hi to EJ and shaking his hand? I don't mind people being civil to him but I would think Roman would still be ticked about the things EJ did, especially since EJ just slept with his daughter. Dumb and whoever dressed Ali today needs to be fired. She looked awful. Did like her mentioning shedding baby weight. Nice nod to TBL. What also makes me mad is that the Sami/EJ scene, which ended in a decent place, does not continue tomorrow. Memo to Dena: GET SOME GOD DAMN CONTINUITY!!!

Ok, now on to what I enjoyed or at least found some interest in. First off, Kate/Daniel really interested me. Kate looked pretty scared and desperate and Daniel, to me, has been acting creepy since he told Lexie about his wife. Weird. I know Dena drops red herrings but I don't think this is one. Hell, he was having those weird exchanges with Lexie and now he is having one with Kate. Something is up and we even had Victor wonder out loud what is going on with Kate. This illness may have more purpose, it seems. I wonder if this goes back to my womanizing theory of a few weeks ago. Maybe Daniel preys on vulnerable women. Think about it. He came into Chelsea's life when he found her crying. Grandpa Shawn had just died and Bo was sick. He was her hero and that started something between them. Then there is Lexie, whose marriage has began to crumble a bit the last two months, leaving her vulnerable, and she has confided in Daniel this and around the time she confided in Daniel and he confided in her about his wife, Daniel and Lexie started acting weird around each other soon after. We haven't seen much of Kate outside of the business story with Tony and the Martino thing and little scenes here and there with family and friends. She was the one that encouraged Chelsea to go after Daniel way back when and Chelsea was hesitant. Perhaps Kate got involved with him before Chelsea fell hard for him and maybe that plays into all this. Maybe Matt's theory does too or maybe he just preys on vulnerable woman. I mean, Chelsea and Lexie were both vulnerable and Kate could be too with Lucas in jail at the time, being all alone without love, etc. I keep getting this vibe that he's hopping from woman to woman for some reason and I like that idea and I like that it's very mysterious. That is why his asking Chelsea out didn't bug me because now it makes me wonder. He asks Chelsea out after the recent weird occurrences with Lexie and now Kate. Very intriguing and this story has me hooked now.

Nicole/Trent was also interesting. Roscoe had his creepy vibe going and I loved him calling her "Nikki." Been awhile since we've heard that. Very intriguing. I don't understand how anyone can say Nicole has done a 180 when her softer side has been the focus for weeks, especially in scenes with EJ. Ari had said Nicole was back for more then just money and that has been the case. She came back to screw Victor and get Philip to marry her but she had to work with EJ and what started out as business and fun (pissing Sami off) ended in her falling for EJ and, like Austin, he can see through her. He can see how she covers her feelings through the drinking and acting out and snarky comments. That is why she did what she did today. She did to impress him and show her softer side and to show that she is trying not to hide or cover it up anymore. Enjoyed Nicole/EJ and the hug and the Nicole/Victor scenes rocked. Wish we got more. They are great together (which is why I love the clips at the start of this thread of that scene after the Kiriakis Mansion fire. Loved that scene with Victor and Nicole). Nice seeing Henderson too and Victor and Philip at the hospital. Also liked the Philip/Victor scene at the end. It's so great having the Kiriakis mansion back and the use of Victor is great.

Max and Stephanie was dragged out but interesting today. The scenes with Max trashing the place were ok and at least they gave us a cliffhanger with Nicole and Trent arriving with Max still in the room. Add me to the list of people liking Stephanie and Nick. They should give these two a try together. Have Max push her away and maybe even do a Chelsea/Nick/Stephanie triangle. They are best friends fighting for the same man. Sounds good to me and then bring back Abby and maybe try a Abby/Max/Morgan story or something (I can dream, can't I?). Shelley and Blake have a nice chemistry and I'm enjoying their relationship as friends. I was glad the Baby Joe story got some sort of a payoff today with Steve and Kayla holding him (cute moment, especially with Stephanie and Nick watching). They really did drop the ball though with this after a week or so. This story could've been so much more but there just wasn't enough focus and I'm still miffed that the Ava stuff is a distant memory for them. I did like Steve and Kayla discussing Stax and the awkward moment when Steve asked if Stephanie spent the night with Max. Also liked Steve being upset about Stephanie not coming home or calling and being concerned about "Maxwell" as well. True to his character. Glad they are getting airtime again but they are being wasted.

Also liked the Abe/Roman conversation and the mention of Abe's problems and Eric. All these Eric mentions have me wondering if he may return. Victor/EJ was fun too and loved the mentions of Carly, Vivian, and even Jan today. The history was used well today and I loved how EJ mentioned the whole Jan/Nicole plot and referred back to that time period and the events of it, as bad as it was. Nice touch.

It was a nice blend of characters again today and, as I said, there was some interesting points but the parts of the show I disliked were really bad so it brought the whole episode down for me. The show is still far from where it should be and I just hope it picks up in a hurry. Some things in the upcoming spoilers make me believe it will but I'm going to wait before judging until it all hits our screens.

OK on the Nicole settling for less money note... that made sense to me not because of Nicole's softer side but for some reason I got the idea she wanted to end her marriage to Victor so EJ wouldn't have anything to hang over her head if she wanted to spill the beans to Sami about the annullment

^That probably plays into it too but I think she was genuinely trying to show him she was going to try not to cover up her feelings anymore, at least not around him.

I like the approach they are taking with EJ/Nicole. It's similar to Austin/Nicole but EJ has a bit more of an edge and they are taking their time with it. It's a refreshing dynamic between the two of them so far IMO and they have major chemistry IMO.

I thought today's show was ok. I liked the Nicole/Trent scene (he was creepy!) and Nicole/EJ/Victor. I am curious as to why Kate doesn't want Daniel to do the surgery. Hopefully it isn't something really stupid.

I agree with those that don't see any chemistry between Bryan and Nadia. I don't see anything romantic coming out of this at all, it would be so awkward!

And I felt the opposite. I am actually very bothered by Sami constantly working out and constantly talking about how she needs to lose weight when she's gorgeous and has been a size 2 since the babies were born. There is no weight to lose and it pisses me off that she's always talking about herself like she's fat. Biggest Loser or not, it annoys me and makes me like Sami even less.

Dena's stories are poorly thought out, poorly executed, short-lived, and BORING. It's obvious that the enthusiasm Ed Scott brought to the cast is now gone.

And although I know budget issues and the limited availability of certain sets is not Dena's fault, it is going to be so sad this year when the Hortons celebrate Christmas at the DiMera mansion.

^They wouldn't do that. The Horton set is still there. They've used it the last few years for Christmas. They would probably use that set more if Frances was able to work more since it seems that set is one that is always left untouched.

How many days has Max been on straight? I realized today that I am enjoying Nick, Stephanie and Trent in this storyline, but not Max which yea, it is his storyline. However, the most interesting part if Trent and Nicole, loved how AR played that.

Meanwhile Stephanie is going crazy cause Max left out of his room w/o leaving a note. You know, she's going overboard but it is a really jerkish thing to do. It's disrespectful to say the least (since Max got his needs met) and he could have at least lied in a note about where he was going. I am sure Stephanie wouldn't have questioned it but that along with leaving his cell phone off.

Didn't care for Kayla defending Steve or at least telling him it's not his fault he wasn't around for Stephanie tgrowing up. This conversation is just filler since it's something they should have gone over like a year or two ago when steve returned. It's like Dena is trying to talk about everything else but what they NEED to talk about. MBE looked beautiful.

I do like Lucas and Chloe. I can't believe I'm saying that.

I think Paul did awesome in his scenes with John and Ava. I guess I'm used to day players doing that kind of work but Paul really sold the scared in his pants scenes. Oh how I wish they would have featured Paul's character as much (or more) than Daniel's.

I'm with ya on this Sariah!
I get so annoyed, roll eyes, when beautiful skinny people talk about losing weight. Sami looks beautiful, we just saw her get half nekkid and she looked great. She has two guys fawning over her and great figure with huge boobs that she gets to flaunt to all the flat chested women on that show, yet she is complaining she still has baby fat and looks bad?

There was some rumor with all the gym scenes, running scenes, fruit plates and Nicole mentioning her baby fat...that Sami was going to revisit her bulimia disease.
Kill me now!
