I'm loving this situation Nicole has been thrown into. Since her return, this is the first story that is unique and intriguing for me to watch. I can't wait to see what the case is with her and Trent and how she's going to go about escaping this. |

Maybe we might see a little of Celeste this summer, helping Abe and Lexie deal with Theo's autism...Makes more since to see her doing that, then being Sami's ally like she was last year.. |

I hope we see her too. Love Celeste and it would be nice to have her featured as Theo is her grandson. I did like her as Sami's ally and it did make sense at the time because Lexie was missing and Celeste blamed EJ for it since he was the resident Dimera villain at the time so I thought it worked. Plus, she was actually working for EJ because he promised to tell her about Lexie so I thought it was a fun story and one that made sense given Lexie's disappearance and Celeste's past with the Dimera's. I have been lamenting the lack of Celeste for months. It's ridiculous they could have a story about Theo having problems and Celeste would not be involved. That woman took care of Theo as her own while Lexie was gone and she has always been there for Lexie during crises like this. |

Fridays hasn't come on yet, but from the previews i love the fact that Morgan bringing up the fact that Daniel is old enough to be her dad or something like that to Chelsea..Finally, the writers are addressing the age difference..It didn't make sense to gloss over that.. |

I swear a lot of the time it feels like I'm watching the same show day after day, the clothes may change but the dialogue just stays the same especially the Stax scenes. The Stax scenes in particular have brought my dislike for Shelly Henning back up, she always sounds like a whiny teenager even more so lately and it's so annoying...... :frustration: Not so subtle Midol product placement today huh? We the viewers need a bottle after watching Higs stuff day after day........ |

See I think it's too late. If you are to do this, at least use characters who haven't previously spoken positively about Daniel and Chelsea together which Morgan has. I mean, we all want the Uncle/Niece thing brought up but not in a way like Caroline cleaning the bar and she looks up with an "aha" look and goes "Wait a minute....Max is my son, Stephanie is my granddaughter. HOW DOEST THAT LOOK??" |

Seriously that Midol thing was ridiculous. I just kind of rolled my eyes when they got in a plug for the upcoming Miss Universe pageant earlier in the episode but Morgan bending over in cramps and getting handed the box before the closeup on the label was outright comical. I agree everything is redundant with the same conversations over and over again with just different clothes. Everyone is just jabbering on and on about their problems and not really doing anything to advance the story. Sure it's great that they are finally addressing the Chan age difference (both Stephanie brings it up to Chelsea and Dan talks about it with Phillip) but this is shit they should have dealt with at the beginning of this story for it to make any sense at all. I still don't get what the Kate-Daniel hang up is. And while the Nicole-Trent scenes were chilling, I'm ready to know what the deal is there, too. It's almost like the show drags on these secrets in the story that are kept from viewers to the point where when they are finally revealed the viewers don't care. It just feels like backwards soap opera. Like shouldn't the characters be keeping secrets from each other while the viewers know all the dirt and are just waiting for the shoe to drop? |

Chan day. Stax day. Pass the midol. Kate: This Kate animosity towards Daniel better mean something and nothing lame. I want it to be a secret that hurts her AND Daniel. I swear if it winds up he was simply covering up a secret for her... Chan: the show had an actual marginal of a chance for me to believe that Daniel's interest was more than just lust. They had a chance to use Philip (though I hate it) and let it be him who sees the hot babe checking out Daniel. He brings it to the Surfshort's attention who was oblivious to her. (You know cause all he can think about is Chelsea). This isn't that hard wtiers. Instead, we have SC looking like he nearly is going to break his back trying to get a good look at the hot woman. Ugh, please don't let Phil and Dan become friends. Also, glad to hear Morgan bringing up how Daniel blew Chelsea up a couple of weeks ago, and how typical of Chelsea to get bitchy of her (clearly she is so ready for a more mature relationship.) The age problem is a bit too late, these characters had no issue with how old Jonas was months ago when they were pimping Chan, why does it bug them now? And hell to the no upon comparing Daniel Jonas (or Shawn Christen for that matter) to Johnny Depp. Good God. And what was up with that phone call? They were doing a better job ignoring the age difference than confronting it. Having Chelsea and her friends practically giggle when Daniel calls is the most silly scenes I've seen. We do get a little Nick. Glad to see after getting the great big secret off of Max's chest, he's still going to act like a dick to others. I realize it's not easy to share but Nick is now working with this man and it seems again leaving Nick out of a secret that kind of involves him. Nicole/Trent: AZ is just rocking these scenes with him. She does disgust and fear very well. Dare I get excited when Trent brought up the fake cover that a grad student knows about his past and Nicole thinks he means Nick? So then she goes to Nick to get answers? Probably will lead her in Max's direction. I'm still amused at how the show can dance around Caroline's relationship to Max and Stephanie. I can so see this driving the writers insane. "No no no, you can't have Steph refer to her as Grandma while talking to Max. Call her 'your mom'". |

Great post, Tripp! And good thought, IMiss, about there is so much buildup about this BIG secret (Dan/Kate, Nicole/Trent, EJ/Burke, Max/Trent/picture) and it goes on and on and on...that by the time it does come out, I have given up and couldn't care less! Dena seems really big on secrets and eavesdropping....they have been nonstop this past month. She also seems big on people talking to everyone else about the problem except the person they should be talking to. And, yes, Rhiannon - what young women in Phillip's past has he just hooked up with to boost his ego? |

Other then the embarrassing Midol shit, I liked today's episode. This week as a whole has been the best overall week in awhile. I liked the Nicole/Trent thing and don't feel it's being dragged out. It only started on Tuesday! I want them to build this up to be something good. Ari and Roscoe play well off each other and it was very creepy when he called out to Stephanie and the way he smiled was so chilling. Loving Trent. Abe/Lexie/Theo should've gotten more focus but what we did get was nice and well played. Liked the Lexie/Kate scene and the little Theo/Kate moment, which was cute. I also liked Morgan, Stephanie, and Chelsea hanging out and discussing their problems. Glad the age difference was brought up. It is a bit late for it to receive this much focus but in fairness to the show they did bring it up at times before. This is just the most focus it's gotten. I didn't mind the giggling over Daniel calling her because girls do that. I have a niece in college and her and her friends are always doing crap like that around the phone. The Daniel/Kate thing is interesting and I don't think it's nothing. Kate looks like she is more then angry with him and the way he talked with Philip about her, something is up. She actually looks afraid of him to me, Liked the Philip/Daniel scenes too. Typical guy talk and I didn't mind Daniel and Philip's reaction to the girl walking by. Their guys and I found it to be realistic. I enjoyed Philip mentioning how Kate interferes as well. That was a nice touch/ I didn't feel the Stax scenes were that repetitive since it was about him telling Caroline this time. the Nick/Max scenes were pretty redundant but not Stephanie and Max. Not today at least. I like how they are using Caroline in this story. It's as it should be and I like how conflicted Max was about telling her. Loved the Chloe/Morgan face off at the end. I'm really getting into the whole Chloe/Philip/Morgan thing. I think Chloe is just trying to get into Morgan's head with the whole "he preys on young girls to boost his ego" comment but clearly Morgan is seeing through it. I also liked J&M today and his showdown with Philip. We had major progression this week as Marlena is giving John space and they are getting a better understanding of each other. The writing for them has improved alot IMO. The divorce thing was so taking out of context in the mags and spoilers. Marlena merely advised divorce if John and her don't find their way back together after he tries things out on his own. That's all. A prime example of why you never truly know what you will get until you see everything onscreen. The scenes were much different then we were told in the mags and spoilers. Overall, a decent episode and a solid week IMO. Not perfect but a major improvement from the past few weeks. Edited by PhoenixRising05, Jun 20 2008, 03:02 PM.

Morgan needs to STFU. Seriously. Like now. I went from not really caring about the character - finding her annoying and not wanting her with Philip until these last two days where Days has made certain I hate that little self-centered bitch. She's acting like some sort of petulant, pouty child who has declared Philip to be HER toy and doesn't want to share. And calling Chloe a harlot? WTF? Chloe wasn't the one kissing somebody else's man! I don't know if Chloe was lying to Morgan at the end, or if stuff happened off screen while Philip was off screen after Jay left, or maybe Chloe's even referring to Cynthia. I don't know. But I don't know what right Morgan has to be such a hag when she's the one who moved in on someone else's man! When Sami or Nicole act bitchy, I get it. I know where they're coming from. They've had hard lives and a lot of struggles and problems. So honestly, it doesn't bother me when they do it. It bugs the crap out of me that Little Miss Magnolia, who has come from a life of privilege, acts like she's entitled to have whatever she wants whenever she wants it. She doesn't even have the sense of decency to act slightly embarrassed or humbled to have been kissing on Philip. And I wouldn't have thought it possible, but that fake southern accent has gotten even WORSE. Edited by Sariah, Jun 20 2008, 04:49 PM.

I know you are a phoe fan..but why is Morgan bad for kissing Phillip, when he is single..All he and Chloe have is a sexual arrangement and they aren't exclusive...Its no worse than Chloe kissing and almost hooking up with Phillip, while still married to Brady... |
