Thank you so much for posting this. I am so happy for EastEnders! I watch it every week on Dish -- it is by far my favorite soap of all time. And everytime I watch it, I ask myself, why in heaven's name do I waste my time watching a soap like Days of our Lives. Seriously. There is no comparison. Thank you again!!! |

DAMN! EastEnders was ripped off for Most Spectacular Scene. These shows look amazing though. Where can I watch them? |

You can order on DishNetwork for $9.95 per month. Of course, that would require getting satellite. Try YouTube and type in "EastEnders." For the scenes here, type in "EastEnders Max Stacey Tanya." Oh for most spectacular scene, I didn't see that clip -- I bet it was Stella jumping off the roof of the building LOL. Type in "Stella Phil EastEnders." The BBC seems to be pretty lenient about letting people post clips, so you'll find a ton of them -- some of them showing an entire episode (EastEnders is a half hour show). More happens in one episode of EastEnders than in two years of Days. I'm not kidding. If there is anything specific you want to see, PM me. Edited: For the car scene from EastEnders, it's "EastEnders Phil Ian Ben Peter." Don't know whether it's posted, but it was a good scene. I didn't know for sure who would live or die. And when people die on EastEnders, they die for good. |

DAMN AGAIN! I just watched the clip of Emma Rigby from Hollyoaks in "Best Dramatic Performance." Wish she would've won! That anorexia storyline looks pretty awesome. |

WOW! Thanks for posting. The British people have so much energy unlike those lazy fools at the Daytime Emmys. ROFLMAO @ the guy saying Heather Mills was disappointed because she's not villain of the year. Are these shows available online? I would love to take a look at them. |

Many years ago, a friend of mine in Canada recorded an entire week of Coronation Street, Emmerdale, and Neighbors for me. CS was not bad. Neighbors bored me to tears. However, Emmerdale was the shiznit! Some bitch took off in a helicopter leaving some guy laying beside his wheelchair and escaped the country (or something like that) and there was also a trial going on about a hit and run accident. It was all kinda serious/campy (nice mix), but damnit, by the time the week of eps was up, I was dying to know what the hell was going to happen next. |

Ah I knew she won something, but I'm surprised she wasn't nominated for Best Villain |

LoL, I'm watching an "evil" montage of her right now. She seems like fun! Alvin, that "Best Exit" totally should've went to the woman in the wedding dress who jumped off the building and landed on the car! Didn't something similar to that happen with Sheila on B&B? In a wedding dress, jumping from a building? Anyway, that scene was great! Wish she would've won. |

Max is killed tonight on Hollyoaks. How sad that Clare tried to kill him a million times and he wouldn't die, yet now they off him in a hit and run accident. |

You had to see the Clare saga from start to finish to see why she won. Her exit was so FIERCE. I agree, though. LOL Edited by Y&RWorldTurner, Jun 27 2008, 11:59 AM.

The foreign soaps still know how to do soap opera. They are still done the way old classic soap operas here were done. There has just too much meddling and altering of the format with the daytime soaps here. |

After years of being unlucky in love and several attempts at being killed by Clare last year, Max finally found love with Steph. However, today was their wedding day and the man, Nial, who is in love/obsessed with Steph is driving by the location where they're celebrating. Max's little brother Tom is in the street and is about to be run over by a speeding car that's driven by Nial, Max sees it and rushed to save his little brother. Max is more like a father to Tom, since their parents are dead and he was left to take care of Tom. Anyway, Max ends up being the one hit, and he dies in the arms of his best friend OB (who has been though EVERYTHING WITH HIM) as Steph watches and cries on her wedding day. Steph doesn't know that Nial is the one who did it. Shit is definitely going to hit the fan when she finds out he killed her husband on their wedding day. From those who aren't familiar with the show, it's definitely the end of an era, as Max has essentially grown up on the show. Edited by Y&RWorldTurner, Jun 27 2008, 04:45 PM.
