Yes, Tricky, the posts were deleted, but it was NOT because they were found to be untrue. So they can be/are true. LOL.

es, honestly, we have an "anything goes" policy (as long as you don't attack other members) that other boards do not, but I think they wish they had. So, I am not surprised, we're being attacked on other boards. Fans can speculate and say things here, have freedom of speech that they can't on other boards.
But I still don't understand why they were removed. Then you might aswell remove all the other posts in this thread with speculation of who the actress is, because pretty much every actress on the show has been mention so why would you just remove the post speculating about AS?

I was just saying last night how good this board is because you don't remove stuff like almost every other board does.
Because the people who posted it wanted it deleted. If we didn't delete it as they asked, they could have just gone through and deleted it themselves.

The people had asked. We didn't just go ahead and do it.
I was hoping that I would make the 2,000th post. lucky bastard. lol

I honestly want all of them that are involved in this mess to be punished. This will teach them a lesson to stick to their own jobs.
Not at the expense of losing the show....if rewrites were made to save the show, I'm down with that but if the "diva" decided to purposely cut people's lines and certain things of that nature....that's just wrong and you don't do that to your co-workers for the sake of career advancement or whatever. If that were the case then I'd say fire her, no matter WHO she is. Either way the WGA isn't going to pass judgement on a moral level so I'm sure the show will get a slap on the wrist -- and just that hopefully.

It just warns them to stop from here on out.

If there's still proof of PAST non-union writing, they can still pursue that and fine people.

But it basically says "We know what you're doing. From here on out, it better stop, or legal action will intensify"
Thank you for the clarification! :)

It demands that whoever the non-Guild members are to stop writing the show or legal action will take place. It's a legal warning.
And where was this guild during the strike?

I smell a rat.

I also want to say that I am so fucking glad I have picked boards to post on that are not in anyway shape of form connected to NBC and SONY...I am so glad we have the freedom here to talk about this openly and honestly without having our threads vanish before our eyes. The fact they are pulling threads at Sony and NBC makes the whole thing seem even more serious.

I also want to thank the mods for the "freedom of speech" aspect of this board. For the stupidest of reasons, I have been edited/deleted on the NBC/Sony boards, and nothing is more frustrating than to see your comments not posted because someone over there didn't agree with you.

To all of those at DR, I am proud to be a member here! This is the best site by far to discuss soap topics!
I salute thee! :hail:
:o WHAT????!!! You were edited for your opinions at NBC? I must say I'm beyond shocked! LOL Sorry I couldn't help myself.

Um - they were heading up a strike?

And investigating scabs (which they still are).

And trying to work out a deal with the AMPTP.

I'm not sure I understand the question.

Yesterday, sony had a thread talking about all of this. I don't even see it today. Looks like damage control to me.

I want the whole story. This just doesn't add up for me. Scenes are rewritten all the time sometimes with and sometimes without the writers input but does the WGA get called in everytime? I don't think so. So what did Scott and his pal do, change the storyline and rip out pages and insert their own?

I also have a hard time believing that two professionals would do something so blatantly obvious. What makes it even more curious is that the alleged 'victim' here is part of another WGA investigation and has been at the receiving end of a tremendous amount of criticism. Can you say 'smoke screen?'

I'm questioning the priorities of the guild. The strike has been over for months yet they are still investigating? At this rate Days could be off the air before there is a resolution to this. Sounds more like a don't ask don't tell policy than anything else.

Its a cop out for WGA to say they didn't have time to deal with the scabs during the strike because they were heading up a strike, its their job to do both so if they are going to penalize Days for this, they sure as hell better do it for their behavior during the strike.
