I think the other two are Steven and Mary. I know Steve wrote his exit screens durning his last GH stint.
Yeah, wasn't something mentioned recently about Steven and Mary Beth going to the show's producers and asking them to address the Ava situation or something?
They did. And now we're getting all of these Steve and Kayla scenes, regarding Kayla's trust in Steve. But I blame that on Higley. If she were doing her job and writing well, then Evans and Nchols wouldn't have had to go to the producers and writers and ask for certain scenes to be written.

It should have been addressed and I can't blame MBE and SN if they went over Higley's head to get that scene written.

I want to know who the overblown diva is who has taken to telling everyone on the set that she and Ed are the head writers. Because she can carry her ass too, and I don't care who it is.

Oh, it'd SO fit Nadia as the overblown diva. I'm sure that after Brandon and Martha exited and that interesting quadrangle that she came back for and was ruined, and her vixen side faded and Higley put a stop to Brady coming back, she got mad. I'd believe that in a second, I think its always been rumored that she's a diva.

Sounds like there is another side to this story to me.
Definitely.

There's much more story to tell.

We need to find out why... how... when... who...

The cast must've thought they were in heaven. "Hey, we can write our own stuff? Awesome! Let's have my character fuck this character in an elevator, and this character can fuck that character... and we're all just gonna fuck all summer! And we'll get NBC to promote the hell out of it as a 'Summer of Romance' and it's gonna be great! Oh yeah, and Theo's autistic."

This story has many layers and it's gonna take a while to get to the bottom of it. Is it possible for the actors to be fired?

Ed Scott, damn it. You and Corday should've just fired Higley and gotten someone more capable. Don't do this underhanded shit that's gonna end up screwing the show over even more in the end. Ugh... just ugh. As for Corday, this just goes to show how out of touch he really is. If this doesn't prove it, nothing will. The man is CLUELESS at running a business. Absolutely clueless.
It's interesting that this, like a lot of big failures, comes down to poor management.

Keep in mind that most writers aren't on the set on a daily basis (if at all) and don't even see their how their written material plays out until the see it on air (often weeks and months after they've originally written it). We don't have a time frame on when Dena saw the show, *knew* that what she was seeing wasn't what she'd written. BTS re-writings could've been going on for months before she even knew what was going on (with much of the rewritings not even airing yet).
Very true.

Hasn't it also been said that Higley has a tendency to not watch the shows she writes for? Without watching, it might've been difficult for her to realize what was going on.

Interesting, but not nearly as shocking as I thought/was afraid of. First, this source is close to Highley so he is not objective. I´m sure Ed Scott is doing changes in the scripts, most of producer does. But part of the HW´s job is accept those changes and work them in, not throw hissyfit and refuse any rewrites which is what she apparently did.

This all IMO stems from the fact Dena seems very impulsive/nerve woman with a lot to deal with. She wants to be good HW but she doesn´t have the abilities/time/patience so she blames everybody else who tries to clean her mess. This source says Ed is asking some actors to write their story/scenes. Is it told in a negative way but honestly, that´s exactly what the actors praise Ed Scott for. They say he talks with them about the storyline and he allows them to change the lines to work better. Is that bad? Of course not. If Scott is the one responsible for the recent Ava/Kayla/Steve scenes he did the right thing.

Anyway, this really seems more like a scream of angry, unappreciated woman who thinks everybody is against her than an objective report. We will see what happens next.

Well I know the Diva is NOT Deidre Hall,Dee loves playing Marlena the most when she's strong and kick butt, not foolish,if Dee were doing her own writing Marlena would have smacked Ava and told John off by now.

But I also suspect that they felt like they were bailing as hard as they could to get themselves away from what Higley was working on and it does seem like Scott is trying to get other headwriters installed....
I'd say this is spot on. For whatever reason, they couldn't get rid of Higley so Scott was trying to do what he could to turn her piles of crap into something palatable.

I forgot about Lauren. That is a good choice and she is buddies with Ed.

I think what Matt said is probably accurate. We heard some were unhappy about Higley returning in the first place so maybe there was some tweaking going on at first and one thing led to another.

I knew once the autism story hit that Higley wasn't behind everything. I don't even think she wanted that. She seemed so uncomfortable with it. Ed Scott is also big on the Green movement, as is Peter Reckell so perhaps Peter wrote some of his lines then. That is another thing we have to remember. The three actors involved may not have all wrote complete stories for themselves. Perhaps they merely edited dialogue or scenes here and there.

Yes, I could see SN and MBE because they like tweaking things and improvising but they did have to go and complain. Maybe they did write alot of it after complaining but they seem like they would make their intentions known, unless they still didn't like how it all was handled and took it upon themselves with Ed.

Wow...you know I love Ed but maybe they should just clean house. Scott, Higley, whoever. You can't gave that kind of shit going on at the show because then you make others unhappy. What a mess.

^ My face watching DAYS

I would KILL to be a fly on the wall in one of the many corridors/rooms/studios in Burbank this morning.

No doubt that EVERYONE at the studio is hearing about this and that the phones are ringing off the hook about this scandal.

CORDAY GET YOUR ASS BACK FROM THE BAHAMAS AND TAKE CARE OF THIS FUCKING SHOW FOR ONCE IN YOUR GOD DAMN LIFE!

I doubt the diva is Deidre, I've always heard of her to be very kind and she is ALWAYS classy in interviews and everything, in fact I remember hearing that it was rare for her to speak up about anything.

What does this Ed Scott look like?

Is he fuckable?

He sounds like he might be a icky like Hogan and Reilly and Frons.

I've slept with my boss once or twice...but it wasn't for personal gain.

Maybe it wasn't a full blown affair?
Maybe it was just a lil sucky sucky...a llick of the balls a few times.

I can't picture any of the Days actors going down that path...nor do I want too.

I stopped watching the show like 2 years ago.
I have no desire to ever go back to watching everyday.
This just proves that the show has zero direction.

Hell, I'm surprised people from the wardrobe and makeup department aren't also writing the show...people just off the street.

Everybody involved needs to be canned.

And once again, Days has made the mistake(in less than six months, too!) of paying their HWs to do absolutely nothing.
Absolutely.

Money right out the window.

And to think, even with the new direction of "improvisational soap storytelling" that Days seems to love taking, not a damn one of those bitches thought to write Kristen back in! LoL

I don't think we have a complete picture here. There is more to this story and as someone posted, I think what Nelson reported came from a pro Higley source. That's not to say it's wrong, but until we have both sides, or all the sides as the case may be, we don't know enough fo make a definitive judgement
