Brandon Beemer, impressive? No, just.. dear God no. Doesn't matter that he changed his attitude from dull (on Days) to cocky (on B&B), the man cannot emote and his acting, talking, and general manner is all sorts of awkward. He's nothing special whatsoever. |

Firing Beemer was one of the best firings DOOL has done of late. He was awful, and had no chemistry with MM, |

Interesting! Agree with some things (Weekly should rehire Mimi Torchin, Days' "criminal underuse" of Deidre Hall), disagree with others (the talent of Sheffer's writing team, Carolyn Hinsey's column being "on-target"), but it's a well-rounded list overall and should give the soaps and the industry a lot to think about. I'm surprised though that more actors and actresses weren't named. Do you think they have less influence than they had let's say ten years ago? |

Have to disagree on Tom Casiello. Just because a fired associate writer decides to write a blog and gossip to fans doesn't mean he has a lick of power. |
