Brandon Beemer, impressive?

No, just.. dear God no. Doesn't matter that he changed his attitude from dull (on Days) to cocky (on B&B), the man cannot emote and his acting, talking, and general manner is all sorts of awkward. He's nothing special whatsoever.

Firing Beemer was one of the best firings DOOL has done of late. He was awful, and had no chemistry with MM,

Whoa, what's this about SoapNet outing a CBS star?

Interesting! Agree with some things (Weekly should rehire Mimi Torchin, Days' "criminal underuse" of Deidre Hall), disagree with others (the talent of Sheffer's writing team, Carolyn Hinsey's column being "on-target"), but it's a well-rounded list overall and should give the soaps and the industry a lot to think about.

I'm surprised though that more actors and actresses weren't named. Do you think they have less influence than they had let's say ten years ago?

Have to disagree on Tom Casiello. Just because a fired associate writer decides to write a blog and gossip to fans doesn't mean he has a lick of power.
