Todd and Tess are great. Bad guys working it out together. Add my bitch, Tina, and you got a triple threat going around town. Viki is gonna shit when she gets home. I want Layla to hook up with Brody...if he stays good and doesn't go the route like all the GH soldiers do. It's been 2 years now. Somebody please give the black girl a story. I'm sure she is tired of hearing about all of these white peoples problems. Poor girl only gets to have one bad day, on one episode. Okay...the time travel story can end now. 6 weeks maybe should have been trimmed down to 4. But seeing Rex in his uniform makes it all worth it. That was a great climax. |

As I type this tears are flowing all over my keyboard. I know the 1968 storyline was way too long. But damn, the last scene where Rex and Gigi leave the bus station and we see the newspaper headlines saying 'more casualties in Iraq' - then seeing the newspapers headlines back in 68 saying 'more casualties in Cambodia' just made me lose it. It brought the memories of Viet Nam and 68 back to me in a way it hadn't before. I'm not surprised, though I never knew, that Robert S Woods was a Green Beret in Nam. He's a new hero for me now. I know the 68 story was silly, but that last scene just choked me up. We lost nearly 60,000 young men in Viet Nam. Never again can we blindly go into another country without just cause. And if that is the best we ever get out of the Rex and Gigi love story, it's enough for me. Thank you RonC for a great story ending. Bravo! |

When Bo was the police commish in his office was a real life photo of Bob Woods as a Green Beret. Glad they are back in 2008, though it bugs how they rewrote Buchanan family history. Olympia was institutionalized before Clint and Bo were that old. Cord is not that young...must have been SORASed or something. BL (who admits that she pays way too much attention to this kind of stuff.) |

Tuesday's eppy was well balanced, s/l's move forward, very entertaining. Probably unpopular opinions but I don't give a shit LOL so here it goes: 1968 was not that bad of a storyline considering it was about "time travel". I don't mind Bo being David Vicker's father. I continue to like Rex and Gigi despite being overexposed. Farah Fath did a fantastic job as Emma. Playing double roles she should be considered for an Emmy nod for younger actress. John and Blair are fun together. It is good to see John smile. Todd and Marty together is strange, complicated, but entertaining. Mendorra sucks and they should have never went back to it, not even for Talia. OLTL continues to be one of the most entertaining soaps out there. Edited by JGG1007, Aug 27 2008, 02:53 AM.

OMG...Carlo and Jonas naked in bed together was priceless. I'll never be able to look at Carlo Hesser the same way...LoL. Too bad that Jonas wasn't more shirtless while he was on. Tina was right, all the cute ones are gay. Loved Todd trying to beat the Tess out of Jess. I know he is her uncle, but damn the sex would be hot between those two. Markko is really Geraldo Riviera?...lmao. I'm kind of excited that to see the new diner when it's rebuilt. And I think I would like to see a Viki/Charlie/Charlotta triangle. I'm glad that Moe called out Rex on still be married. I like Gigi and Rex together...but I love Bitchy Bangs even more. "Come back home and get your man, girl!" |

Today's ep was classic soap! I loved Tina's comment, "No wonder he never made a pass at me." That was so cute. I don't know if enough props have been given to the magnificent Lea DeLaria as Delfina and her alter ego Professor Del Fina. Gawd, she's a great scene stealer. Put her in a scene with David Vickers (the actor OR the dog) and it's anyone's guess who would light up the scene more. I'm liking the Charlie and Carlotta chemistry, too. Gawd, please get rid of Justus Bolding as Sarah. She has the dumbest facial expressions. Fumero's hair looked gorgeously curly today. Yummy! Though I'm a bit tired of Kamar's constant 'deer caught in the headlight' look in his eyes. I agree about Todd and Tess. That scene was thisclose to hot sex between them. Geraldo Rivera! :roflol: |
