According to the P&G Classic Soaps Blog, Deirdre Skiles has been cast as Danielle "Dani" Andropoulos. Long-time ATWT fans know that Dani is the daughter of 1980s supercouple Steve Androploulos & Betsy Stewart Andropoulos. Betsy was played by a pre-movie stardom Meg Ryan. Betsy is Kim's step-daughter (via her marriage to the late Dan Stewart) and Emily's half-sister (by Dan). Dani was once thought to have been fathered by Craig Montgomery (Betsy's husband at the time) until it was proven that true-love Steve was the father. Dani was last seen in Oakdale in 1996 as a teen played by Ashley Williams. She returns as a forensics expert who crosses paths with Margo and first airs August 15. |

Oh, very cool! Hopefully she's written better than someone such as Lucy ever was. Daughter of legacy characters that was pretty much ruined. Written as a weak heroine. (IMO). |
