According to the ABC Press release, DAYS lost a little over 100,000 viewers and over 50,000 viewers in the 18-49 demos.

Looks like GH hit a new low in the 18-34 demo, with a 0.7.

A big smiley face to both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can get excited when soaps (all of them) start caring about what makes a good soap opera - they have no clue right now. Until then lower ratings just speed up the death of these soaps and the networks can quit fucking with them and inflicting more pain on them and the viewers.

Last week Days had the Big Bo and Hope Renewal too and Stefano's return - Jeepers if that can't draw more viewers nothing can!

Plus, It was the week that Ava exited, Stefano returns and Marlena gets stuck .... Big vet week! and yet the ratings and Demo slipped from previous week.

While I love Bo and Hope, I really could've cared less about them renewing their vows. I actually didn't watch.

I did watch the rest of the week though.

I know after the 5th re-marriage or renewal it may get a bit hokey .... but I love Bo and Hope so I loved it and the flashbacks - It was promoted so well too - on Prime time almost everynight on NBC... so it is so shocking it was that weeks low day! I'm sure that TPTB that it would be a sure bet for a ratings bounce and yet no payoff - heck they did outside location shots and yet no bounce??? Holy crap that's bad!

I think Bope has had too many weddings/renewals so no one really cared about another one. They should have given Tanna their wedding onscreen instead.

Geeze Luis, these ratings are horrid....all across the board. I guess I better start watching DAYS again or the show will be canned...

If prime-time promotion and Stefano's return can't do it, I don't know what can. Really. I know I'll get ripped to shreds for being Mr. Negative, but how much longer can NBC possibly hold on to this show? Another year, tops? I just don't understand how it's good business.
