One Tree Hill Season 6

Well .... that was a pretty boring season premiere.

Is this seriously the best they can come up with? Carrie's back, and now even crazier than before with Dan locked in some remote shack? Brooke getting beat up? Leyton and their yuckiness?

Yawn.

Atleast Mouth is finally gone, though the scenes in the finale would have been enough to explain his absense. Didnt need to see him and that boring secretary get a big sendoff.

Punk Cabaret is Freedom

I enjoyed the premiere and I'm looking forward to next week's eppy.

Glad that Lucas finally picked Peyton. Never liked Lindsay.

Skills and Deb were/are a hoot! Nathan is going to flip.

The scene between Brooke and her mom was great. Can't wait for the showdown to continue. The ending definitely caught me off guard.

The whole Carrie/Dan stuff is a little out there, but it doesn't bother me. I was actually pretty shocked she pulled the whole thing off.

Wow, Drew... I agree with you about Lucas and Peyton, but the rest of it, I was GLUED to it. Of course, I didn't read any spoilers, so the Carrie reveal totally blind-sided me, and left my jaw on the ground. And then by the time we got to the cliffhanger with Brooke, I was just reveling in the sheer "Melrose"-ness of it all.

I actually thought it was more fun than the GG premiere... although seriously, Chad Michael Murray needs to take Chace Crawford and go run a Pretty People's Pizza Joint or some crap like that. As long as they're far away from scripts and cameras. LOL!

i didnt read spoilers for it either, but it was just ... boring! Pointless conversations that went no where.

I forgot to add James is starting to annoy the piss out of me! We get it ... you're cute, but enough seriously or this kid will bring about the shark.

and I'm calling it now that Victoria hired the dude that beat up Brooke, and the shoplifting girl was a script decoy.

oh, and pull what off. I couldnt believe they had her recount her "master" plan for abducting Dan when it involved absolutely ZERO skill. Hit him with the car, throw him in your van. Done.

Drew, after sleeping on it, I agree with you re: Jamie's dance sequence and the Carrie flashbacks. Neither were necessary. (And you can easily cut every Lucas/Peyton scene out. I love Hillarie Burton and thought she delivered some great moments last season (in a very uneven season too), but she really just phoned the whole thing in.

Still, I thought it was a fun premiere, and delivered pretty much what I wanted. But I don't disagree with you on any of your criticisms.

Well, I loved this episode.

It is bringing OTH back to its dark roots, which I think it desperately needed to find b/c this 7th Heaven comedic stuff with Jamie and Skillz and Debb was not cutting it for me.

What a great premiere.

I am happy Lucas chose Peyton, but they WERE boring, but I think it had to be that way.

It rejuvenated OTH for me, but I hope it can keep it up.

I agree there could have been something more to the season premier but I enjoyed it over all. I am glad that 6 seaons later, Payton and Lucas are finally together. Its about damn time! Nanny Carrie and Dan deserve each other. They are both psycho's and therefore a match made in hell. I am not really feeling the whole Brooke/Victoria showdown thing. Can't they find a better storyline for her? I can't wait to see Nathian's reaction when he finds out Skills is the guy dating his Mom. For some reason these two remind of the video to "Stacey's Mom."

I liked the first episode too. I didn't read the spoilers either so I didn't expect Carrie to have been the one to hit Dan either. I wonder how long he will be there before he can get away. He still has to get the heart transplant so her plan won't work for much longer. I can't wait to see tonight's episode.

WOW! I so didn't see that coming at the end of Episode Two -- I don't know where this is all going, but I'm much happier than I was a week ago. And I gotta admit, I got a little teary during the preview for next week, sap that I am.

Now I almost feel bad for ragging on the dance sequence last week... but I guess it was just set-up for this.

Spoiler free is fun... :-)

I LOVED tonight's episode. The ending was really good. Brooke's black eye was too much. Just too much make up. What a mess!

This season is DEMENTED! haha.

I LOVE IT! It has the perfect amount of suspense, intrigue, cheesiness, comedy...Brooke! Haha.

I loved Q's death too. I thought it was brilliant. I was just thinking too, how I wish OTH would tackle death again. They did it so well with Keith's.

^^^ Yeah, I even teared up a little in the preview, with the VO of Nate and Haley explaining death to Jamie. Wow, it's gonna be good.

It was a good episode. I was kinda disappointed since I was hoping that Carrie would kidnap Jamie in this episode.

I missed the previews for next weeks show. Can someone tell me what is was about?
