Ooh ... the February 23rd episode sounds pretty good, shockingly. But then again, SOUNDING good and TURNING OUT good are two different things.

EPISODE 18 (directed by Jason Priestley)
When Dixon (Tristan Wilds) creates a strain within their relationship, Silver (Jessica Stroup) travels to Kansas to learn who he really was but her fragile mental instability gets her involved in a difficult situation. Meanwhile, Kelly (Jennie Garth) once again faces her troubled mother, Jackie (Ann Gillespie)

^ That does sound decent! (But you're right, with this show particularly, sounding good and being good can often be very different, LoL)

A 90210 & Melrose Place Romance Reunion?

Wed Jan 14, 3:50 pm ET. E! Online – A 90210 & Melrose Place Romance Reunion(E! Online) .Los Angeles (E! Online) – Grant Show would be up for making a return to the CW's new 90210 or its upcoming Melrose Place as hunky biker babe Jake Hanson.

However, Show tells us he's got a couple of stipulations.

First up, Jake must be able to rekindle his love affair with Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth).

"That would be the only angle that would be really interesting," Show told us Sunday at the In Style/Warner Bros. Golden Globes afterparty. "They never really explored that in enough depth."

Jake was the "bad boy" from Hollywood who swept Kelly off her feet on 90210, only to break her younger heart. He then went on to become a regular character on Melrose Place.

Show also wants to look forward to going to work every day. "My whole world is about being fun," he says. "If it's fun, I'm there. If it's not fun, I'm not there."

We're sure producers can find of plenty of fun things that Jake can do with Kelly, don't ya agree?

I would love it if Jake and Kelly were reunited on either 90210 or the "new" MP. It's much better/easier than trying to drag Jason Priestley or Luke Perry back to reunite Kelly with Brandon or Dylan.

Love Grant Show. He and Daphne Zuniga WERE (well, so was Calabro, Leighton, Cross and to an extent Locklear) Melrose Place to me. Jake was always a favorite of mine and it would be really cool to see them revisit Jake and Kelly, considering the two were linked from 90210 to Melrose and it could be that way again.

I've had a Melrose marathon today (Season 3 on DVD) ... sigh. I miss that show. As much as I really can't wait for the rebirth of MP, it will never ever capture what the old show was.

They should center the new Melrose around Jake's now 20-something son, David. It would tie Jake to the new show and give us a somewhat established (albeit briefly) link. I'd also really prefer Jamie Luner over Heather Locklear, anyday.

And I'll be so pissed if the new Melrose doesn't get Thomas Calabro.

Jake and Kelly reunion would be freaking amazing.

But it has become clear this show is relying too heavily on faces of the past.

I've missed this week's show but it sounds like I didn't miss much...Debbie, Harry and Annie should just go back to Kansas and leave Dixon in Beverly Hills with Tabitha to live his life.

That is quite the understatement.

OOh Jake - VERY interesting. This would be entertaining. But perhaps a little tired - I mean, how many ex-flames can Kelly get back with? A bit unrealistic, as someone is more likely to date someone NEW. That said, this is the point of soap operas!

I don't think the show is finding it's groove either. It's lacking the sophistication that Gossip Girl has - even all promotion associated with the show seems cheesy.

The one glaring thing I noticed last time as that there's too many people just "paired off" into coupledom and that's that. It reminds me of JER's DAYS when everyone was written into quadrangles and didn't interact with anyone else. 90210 isn't as bad that, but going from Annie/Ethan, Dixon/Silver and than Adriana/Navid - it's just a bit much. Especially since 2 of 3 of these couples are just "together" ....and boring. I actually do like Dixon and Silver - super cute, but nothing to do.

Annie and Ethan's almost sex scene was so stupid. Debbie and Harry are a total, and utter SNOOZE!! I hate their "perfect marriage", like get over yourselves. Team Tracy! WOOT!

The grandma stole the show last time LOL!!! OMG I was actually laughing out loud at her - that show she was auditioning for, something and bluebloods rather. "Can I play a grandmother?" Oy. Her scenes with Annie were Shanae's best.

I agree, I love her! She is so this show's Julie Cooper-Nichol. Get rid of Debbie and Harry and make her a regular!

I agree. The only thing that hype around the show to begin with was returning faces. Somehow, the fact that they were only GUEST STARS got lost in translation with a lot of people who decided not to read the fine print. The Entertainment Weekly cover with Jennie and Shannen says it all, imo. They have to be VERY careful about MP revivals though, especially with the Rob Estes issue. I'm annoyed that he's playing Harry to be honest, as they should just keep the 90210 universe as is Lol!!

No one except "JustJared.com" even cares that Adrianna and Ty are dating in real life. Shanae is ONLY getting press because of her supposed "shannen 2.0 bad girl tactics", eccentric fashion, smoking and being annoying as Annie (as ragging on people is publicity these days). I'm pretty sure AnnaLynne McCord is calling up paparazzi, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Yes, and Julie is my all time favorite OC character! I think they could easily build on the comedic side of Tracy and just make her a regular. I usually laugh at the crazy things she says as it is. I understand that NORMAL marriages are more like Debbie and Harry, but this is a primetime soap in a heightened reality - I don't want to see a boring, normal marriage. I can just go upstairs and hang out with my own parents for that shit!

I forgot to add before also, re: Grant Show. I think it's funny he is "up" for being on 90210. Well, no shit - what was the list thing he was in? Why was MP like death to most of it's cast (besides that Allison chick on the sitcom)....what happened to that Billy guy? lol.

I was so young when MP was on too - but I like things to stay the way they are! The #1 thing that pisses me off in soap land is continuity (well, maybe #1 is bad writing) - it happens a lot and this is a blatant example. MP and the original 90210 didn't have much association I guess after the Kelly thing, but if they are doing a new MP, it's annoying. Especially since (I think, at least) Rob Estes character was involved with the MP star, Heather Locklear.

If Heather doesn't come onto MP. she MUST be Lily's sister on Gossip Girl.

Oh, and that reminds me - isn't Kelly Rutherford a face from this 90210 world too? She played a hooker or something? I guess she won't be guest starring on any of these other shows. The 12 year old CW viewer might get confused!

Andrew Shue? LoL! Well of course he never turned up anywhere after MP. The casting directors of MP are the only ones on the planet who actually thought he could act!

MP has had quite a few alum with relative success post-MP, I think. Kristin Davis with Sex and the City and movies. Marcia Cross and Doug Savant with Desperate Housewives. Alyssa Milano with Charmed.

^ That's true, a few have popped up. Was just a general observation though, lol. I flove Heather and Jack Wagner ahaha - I want there to be a MP reunion just so they can play a couple onscreen too!

They are hot for late 40's! I am also a sucker for hot onscreen couples that become the real deal - but who isn't? It always makes me wonder what happened on the MP set. Maybe Richie was "cheating" - using the term loosely as they reported it was all online - back then too and they hooked up Lol. Something must have transpired, even if it was just chemistry... I just find it VERY odd that you can play a hot couple onscreen then all of a sudden be together 7 years later. A bit random, in fact. Were they even friends?! It also makes me chuckle he's on some cheesy daytime soap, haha!

I've decided to take this show off my lineup.

It's a combo of it not holding my interest and me having too much to watch with the midseason shows, FX shows, and Showtimes shows.

So, adios, 90210. LOL.

It doesn't really bother me since Rob Estes played two different characters on Melrose. As did Linden Ashby who also played Jo's husband.
