I'm enjoying it. I mean of course there are little kinks that will need to be worked out, but there's time for that. I'm diggin it so far.

From that scene between Brenda and Kelly, are we supposed to assume that Brandon is Sammy's father? I wasn't paying that much attnetino because I was talking online to a friend, but I kept like one ear open, and they started off talking about Brandon. The next time I tuned in I heard them talking about Sammy, and how "he" hasn't seen Sammy since he was 2. Are they talking about Brandon, or maybe Dylan?

God damn I am stuck at a Motel 6 that doesn't have a CW channel, sooooo guess I'll be watching this online when we get home or if they repeat it this weekend or something....
Rhiannon! When will you be going back home?
Either tomorrow or Thursday we're hoping our place is ok, but we're waiting to make sure things are calmed down there before we go back.......

I don't know about anyone else, but the Brenda and Kelly scenes feel very tenes, despite both actresses claiming to have buried the hatchet. It just doesn't seem the same as before. Their friendship seems so forced now.

If Dylan is not that kid's father, I will be stunned.

Okay. Wait a damn minute. Didn't Mel and Jackie divorce like a long time ago, when Erin was still a lbaby? Or did the reconcile and continue being married? I can't remember. Anyways, Silver just told Annie how her dad had an affair when she was in 8th grade and it caused problems in her family with her mom, who started drinking. She told Naomi and Naomi told everyone, and that's why they're no longer friends.

Um, what?
Yeah, I thought Jackie and Mel split up in like Season 3? I know it's a minor detail in the grand scheme of things but it just bugs me when writers don't do their homework.

I liked the epi...i mean there are somethings i would totally change but it was a good first epi in my opinion.

Oh side note...my class ended at 8 and thanks to the wonder that is DVR, I was able to watch it as soon as I got home so that by the end of the episode I was watching in real time!

Live. Love. Laugh. ♥

I saw glimpses of the episode (will watch it entirely later). I did see Kelly. The episode was very visually appealing.

Holy crap, is that Linda Gray?

I bet the dad is Dylan but they made it seem like it could be Brandon (hence Kelly's 3:00am call from him). Either Brenda and Kelly fought over Dylan again and he got Kelly pregnant, or Brandon got Kelly pregnant and there's tension because of that.

I did NOT expect Brenda but I saw Shannen's name in the credits at the beginning. LOVED Nat, Kelly and Brenda.

I really disagree with all the nit-pickers. Folks ... this WILL NOT be the old 90210. Period. Re-watch the original first couple of seasons. It was FULL of cheesy topics of the week, etc.

This show is far from perfect and honestly, I think the Harry, Tracy, Debbie thing is really being brushed over, but still ... it's not going to be perfect. I know it's basically 90210-lite but it's NOT the old 90210 and it won't be.

I for one think it's quite entertaining.

I'm really not expecting this to be like the old 90210, so hopefully that will help in my enjoying the show whenever I DO get around to seeing it, LoL.

And who's to say Mel and Jackie couldn't of gotten back together and he cheated again? Why is that being nit-picked?

I had the same idea and I liked it.

I do feel it was kind of rushed. So many quick cutting scenes it made my head spin. That would be my biggest nit-pick.

That and I dislike the whole Harry/Tracy/Debbie thing was pretty much played out in the first episode.

You're right, they could have. But I doubt the writers planned that bit out that meticulously, LoL.

I agree Mason, lol. I doubt they even thought about it but I'll choose to believe it in my head, I suppose.

I will say I LOVE how much Jessica Walter's Tabitha is involved. She's kind of a walking cliche but I absolutely love her. She's hilarious. Her comments are so out there and just hilarious.

And I completely agree that Ryan is the kid (tension already between him and Harry as well as a rivalry of sorts with Naomi).
