Was Rob Thomas apart of this project? I thought so and that is why I tuned in. But this has none of his signature greatness, originality or fantastic characters. It was a huge disapointment and it wreaks of network interference. It was an OC-ripoff and didn't offer one truly interesting character.

Best line of the show was the teacher saying "what is she, like 30?".

I loved it! It's one of those shows that you can put on and then not use your brain at all, just relax and have fun.. lol

It's cliche, but I didn't expect anything more. I like Silver, Navid, Tabitha, Naomi.. even Dixon! I loved seeing Kelly and Brenda and I didn't notice much tension.

I liked the funny dialogue sometimes.

The only thing I didn't like and I agree with some of you is that it all went by too fast. Scenes were short and they skipped some important stuff (like Harry telling Debbie about his son). But other than that, I liked it! :D

I didn't watch the whole thing. I just couldn't get into it. I loved the old 90210! Did Shannon ever show up? I saw Jennie Garth.

90210 Ratings via Media Week

Since we are all at the edge of our seats wondering how 90210 did, let me begin by telling everyone at the CW to relax. It’s good; very good, actually. 90210 debuted with a 3.9 rating/6 share from 8-10 p.m., building from the year-ago encore combination of Gilmore Girls and Beauty and the Geek by a mammoth 255 percent. Take a look at the half-hour breakdown (and notice that the second hour only dipped by seven percent in the overnights).

90210 (CW)
8:00 p.m.: 4.2/ 7 (#3)
8:30 p.m.: 4.0/ 6 (#3)
9:00 p.m.: 3.8/ 6 (#4)
9:30 p.m.: 3.7/ 6 (#4)

Since 90210 opened 34 percent higher than Gossip Girl did in the overnights just one day earlier, you can expect ample tune-in from the target young female audience. Yes, I am aware of the importance of this demographic

Yeah, but they should be worried because they kept dropping throughout the broadcast... but wow at those numbers!

It shed viewers every half hour and did not face any significant competition. While the debut numbers are strong we'll see how well it fares over the season.

Nope....he jumped ship to work on the re-do of Cupid on ABC. I like Rob, but he can be hit or miss.....hit being Veronica Mar...and a Big MISS being that crap fest called Big Shots from last fall.

But I agree.....this show needs to find an original direction. It lacks the unique edge of the OC and Gossip Girl.

If ratings stay at least decent and consistent, I don't see the CW dropping the show.

Well....as said earlier, the following weeks will be the true test. The show had a lot of curiosity viewers.

I think the show will definitely see at least season 2, no matter what the ratings are.

CW stuck with GG, when their ratings weren't the best. 90210 is more popular just by name, so I'm sure they'll stick with it for at least one more season.

But I think the numbers are great for season premiere. Demos didn't drop during the night, so that could be a good sign.

4.9 Mil is HUGE for The CW. People can't think in terms what other shows get because The CW doesn't reach as many people as say ABC. Gossip Girl got about 3 mil for its new episode and that is also really good for the CW.

Those are huge, huge numbers for the CW!

GG only averages like 1. something, don't they? Haha. But it has such a huge fanbase.

I am about half way through the first episode. I can't say I am in love quite yet.
