Extra Scoops

Zach: Betrayed By Josh!

Zach finds some Cambias money missing and the clues lead to an unlikely suspect. "Zach notices that some numbers are off," previews Colin Egglesfield (Josh). "He suspects Josh, and he wants to confirm it. [So] he has his accounting guys look into it." They find out that Josh has diverted some money - like $20 million!

When Josh discovers that Zach wants to talk to him, he heads to Kendall for help. Kendall, unaware that her brother has stolen $20 million from her husband, assures him everything will be okay. Unfortunately, a calmed-down Josh can't get to Zach before Zach gets to him. "Zach's thugs grab Josh and bring him into Zach's office," sighs Egglesfield. "Zach lays out some things, and he's seeing if Josh admits to it. But Josh denies it."

Not the best idea. "Zach tells Josh he has to 'go away'. He doesn't come out and say he's going to kill Josh, but it's implied that Zach's thugs are going to take care of him - either they are going to mess him up pretty bad, or he just won't return. Zach's not a guy you want to screw with. He's capable of anything," admits Egglesfield. So Josh asks Zach for a little clarification - with perfect timing. "Kendall walks in just as Josh says, 'You aren't going to kill me, are you? Kendall's like, 'You're going to what?'" (SOW)

To stop Zach from physically harming Josh, Kendall helps her brother get safely out of town on September 9th. (SOD)

SON Spoilers
From: SON

Erica puts the brakes on her budding relationship with Samuel. Angie is beside herself with worry when she learns that Frankie is being sent back to Iraq to complete his tour of duty. Frankie admits to Taylor that he doesn't really want to go back to Iraq, a notion she finds difficult to comprehend. Taylor is haunted by a disturbing memory. The Inside Story: Risky Business
Josh fears Zach is going to make him pay with his life after he confesses he stole millions from the casino. Kendall tries to intercede on Josh's behalf but Zach refuses to back down. Kendall uses her pepper spray to disarm Zach's goons, allowing Josh the chance to escape. As a terrified Josh arrives at Erica's door, Kendall issues Zach an ultimatum. Erica heads out to confront Zach who continues to ignore Kendall's pleas. On Tuesday, September 9 Kendall finds Josh at Erica's and begins to realize how broken a man he's become. Zach fully intends to make Josh pay for what he's done despite Erica's protest. Upon arriving at Erica's suite, Zach and Erica learn that Kendall and Ryan helped Josh disappear. Ryan takes a job with Zach overseeing the casinos as restitution for helping Josh escape. Zach is fed up with Kendall ignoring the life she has with him. Zach and Kendall make love on his desk. Zach and Kendall begin to take steps in fixing their relationship. Zach instructs his minions to call off the search for Josh.

A Closer Look: Playing with Fire
Ryan's straight talk doesn't go over well with the misses. Simmering from her hubby's rejection, Annie stages it so that Pete accidentally bruises her arms and later claims to Babe, Kendall and Greenlee that Ryan caused the bruises. Babe seems to buy Annie's claim, but Kendall is a tougher sell. Greenlee's death becomes an unhinged Annie's main mission. Annie sneaks out of the mansion and shows up at Greenlee's penthouse, on Wednesday, September 10, with Adam's gun in hand. Annie prepares to shoot an oblivious Greenlee when she's suddenly hit with abdominal pain. Despite being in great pain, Annie manages to sneak out of Greenlee's place and back to the mansion undetected. Meanwhile, Ryan heads over to the mansion to confront Annie after being served with a restraining order. Ryan's anger turns to concern when he realizes Annie's in bad shape. Greenlee reaches out to a distraught Ryan. Greenlee thinks Kendall should give her anger towards Annie a rest. Zach reassures a guilt wrecked Ryan that he's a good father. Kendall sneaks into Annie's room with disastrous results.

Sneak Peeks
From: Soapdom

It would appear that the almost none existent Josh has indeed been keeping busy off camera – embezzling from Zach. Zach is so livid at Josh’s alleged tapping the cookie jar for a cool $20 mill, he’s ready to kill the guy. Thankfully, Kendall comes to Josh’s rescue, but how long will she be able to keep her husband at bay? Not that long. Kendall’s pleas to go easy on Josh fall on Zach’s deaf ears. Later, however, Zach switches gears when he tells his wife that he wants her to focus on their own lives, not everyone else’s. Could this be the beginning of the end for Zendall?

Speaking of relationships running their course, this week Ryan tells Annie they’ll never be a couple again. We can only imagine how Annie is going to take this news, and based on our next juicy tidbit, we are definitely on the right track. Oh, the juicy tidbit in question? Annie wants to get rid of Greenlee once and for all and sets out to put her deadly plan in motion. What dire dealings does Annie have up her sleeve this time?

In the meantime, as Aidan and Greenlee deal with the aftermath of their fight, JR grows more and more suspicious of Adam. Will Aidan and Greens reconcile? Will Adam’s plan be foiled by JR? Finally, the week winds down as Taylor is haunted by a disturbing memory. What is she recalling that so troubling? Find out when you then in to All My Children this week.

Soapnet Sneak Peek
From: Soapnet

Annie (Melissa Claire Egan) is OUT OF CONTROL next week. Seriously, she loses it. But it's so good.

What does she do? How about manipulating Ryan (Cameron Mathison) by using Emma and essentially seducing Pete (Daniel Kennedy) to make it look like Ryan's beating her! Oh yeah, then she gets a gun and hightails it over to Greenlee's (Rebecca Budig) to shoot her. The woman killed her brother, so she's really capable of anything. By the end of the week, someone's in critical condition. Does Annie's plot go according to plan?

Kendall and Zach (Alicia Minshew and Thorsten Kaye) are not having a very blissful week. Mostly because she's trying to prevent him from killing her brother! Which is sort of a problem for a married couple. Anyway, Kendall enlists Ryan and Aidan (Aiden Turner) to help her protect Josh (Colin Egglesfield). But at the end of the day, can Zach deal with his wife siding with her brother over him?

Frankie's (Cornelius Smith, Jr) been given redeployment orders, and it sets the Hubbard world upside down. Angie's (Debbi Morgan) terrified for her son, while Taylor (Beth Ehlers) is envious. Frankie himself is torn between fear and duty. Some powerful stuff dealing with some real issues. It's classic "All My Children."

Thankfully, we have Erica and Adam (Susan Lucci and David Canary) to make us laugh. With the Josh and Kendall drama consuming her kids, and Jackson (Walt Willey) with Carmen (Elizabeth Rodriguez), Erica sort of finds herself alone. Is Adam seriously the one that can make her feel better?

Do you think Frankie should fight his redeployment?
