I just read these again and I'm concerned about these big cuts they're talking about. :drunk: Two actresses and a vet. Shit! Who could they be? I really enjoyed watching Melanie and Chelsea's little interaction yesterday. I would really like them to pursue the Chelsea/Nick/Melanie triangle (just for a short period ate least). It has potential. When will we know who the people are?? :scared: |

I think Lauren Koslow is the vet too. We know about Kristen Renton already. I wonder who the other actress is?? I was thinking (and hoping) Nadia, but with Dena's recent blog it doesn't sound like Chloe is going anywhere yet. |

OMG! Could they be casting Brandon Walker? If so, please no recasts. Get back Matt Cedeno. I know he wasn't the best actor, but he and Alison Sweeney had off the charts chemistry. |

Thanks for the info, Jonny! I really can't think of one other actress I would like to get rid of. Everyone seems to be pretty involved in something...except Chloe and maybe Melanie, but that would mean we had all this buildup to Mel and France and once they are back, it will be like it never happened and we wasted all summer on a forgotten story. |

I'm gonna be angry if it's Melanie. I've been pretty easy going with their "starts" to stories they drop suddenly. But Melanie is really a good find and given I'm sure she's cheap there is no reason NOT to keep her. I hope the vet is not Kate. I've wanted a story for LK for some time, I didn't want one for her so I could watch her die on screen and then watch them send her love interest back to her granddaughter. |

Get back Matt Cedeno Please don't bring back that man. He's not very attractive and can't act. As a Latina I'm all for having my people represented on tv, especially on Days, which hasn't had a Latin character in a dog's age. However, all I ask is that they represent us right! |

And you now, I'm usually fine with them bringing in new characters since there is a severe amount of incest going on, but I don't like this firing 3 people and hiring 1 person. As for the other actress, I can't think of any actress I want to see go. Maybe Chloe but I've now finally started enjoying her a bit. |

Remember the audition script posted last month having Nicole meet a guy somewhere (can't remember), and the guy tells her he knew Brandon? The audition actually named the character as Nicole, but we were all thinking it was someone else. This could be the new guy they're looking for. :shrug: |

I never cared for Matt Cedeno so I didn't like the character of Brandon. If they are bringing him back, a recast may help. I wish we'd find out who else is being fired. I'm thinking LK as the vet; for the other actress, maybe Nadia, although now she has story with Lucas so who knows. Maybe BD is the vet they are talking about, and he and Chloe will ride off into the sunset. I can dream, can't I? I really hope it's not the actress playing Melanie, because I'm enjoying her. |

My first thought was if they are not writing Lexie/Abe off the show (the mentions for the special school, Abe throwing in his badge), then I thought of Rachel Melvin. Kate is supposed to be ill, but then again, there's the spoilers for her marriage proposal from Steffy, and her potential relationship with Dan, I don't know - don't think it's her really. Corday said that they are going to explore the chemistry between Dan and Kate, and hooking Nick up with Melanie (who is cheap, talent wise) would leave Chelsea out in the cold at this point. Considering that they keep having the men in her life sleep with her family members, it really doesn't feel like there's a lot of love for her. JMO. Then another vet spec that I had concerned JKJ, and that Branco interview, where he says the show hasn't been talking to him about re-signing yet, they write off his love interest...I don't know. I am in no way saying I want any of these actors to leave, but basically, between what I've read and what's been on screen, these are probably the shakiest at this point. |

I hate to see any of the vets leave but for budgetary reasons alone there are a few I would knock down to recurring. |
