*Not much this week for Days!* Sneak peeks: Chelsea admits she still has feelings for Nick Lexie severs all ties with Stefano Victor demands that Nicole return his settlement Hope receives an intriguing job offer Next week: Stephanie learns Trent's fate Bo makes an arrest Chloe and Philip flirt Sami and EJ fight SOD: John has a seizure Victor makes a mysterious call about Trent Daniel sees Chelsea for the first time since her return to Salem Who's going: Roscoe Born (Trent Robbins): Trent is murdered this week, sparking a whodunit. He is under contract until October 31, so expect to see him in newly created flashbacks. *Edited with Rosoce Born's comments on his exit: For actor Roscoe Born, the news of his character's exit didn't come as a complete surprise. He got an inkling, "When Joe Mascolo returned as Stefano," recalls the actor. "I didn't think they would want two villains." Born adds that scripts were suddenly changed to make Trent more despicable where daughter Melanie was concerned. Initially, a sympathetic Melanie was supposed to suggest a Gamblers Anonymous program to her addicted father. "Then I got pink pages," says Born, "which are re-writes." In the new scripts, the Melanie/Claude scenes were added. |

It will probably be the killer thinking back to when he/she killed Trent. ----- I think Roscoe is right about the villain thing. It seems like the show only wants one villain at a time, but I think most viewers would like to have more then one, I know I would. Edited by Sindacco, Sep 18 2008, 10:56 AM.

Roscoe is better than Days. I hope that he pops back up somewhere else. The writing for Trent has been terrible since day one and Trent was just a bad character in general who wasn't a good fit for Days. I'd love to see Roscoe pop back up on OLTL. |

I'd love to see him back on OLTL too. I don't get how Philip and Chloe are flirting. It's like her sleeping with Lucas had no affect on him. |

It had an effect. He was pissed in July and Chloe and him had a talk where they parted ways. They sort of made up when Chloe came to visit him at the hospital. Lucas and Philip talk about the Chloe issue alot on Friday and even make up so it was not forgotten. These sound good. It was obvious the Trent stuff was changed and I really think this was Higley's original intention for Trent. She wanted him to be scary and horrible. I think Scott wanted to soften him to keep him around and that is why we got the change and now the change back to what Higley wanted, which is actually more interesting IMO. |
