And Janalh, the mayor doesn't even make it in the door of the D-mansion before he gets shot. I also think the mayor may soon be dead. OMG! Who would have a connection DiMansion, would flip out, hold Sami at gunpoint and shoot the mayor? Two names come to my mind: 1) Nicole 2) John (if his motherboard starts going haywire, you betcha!) It's what he was previewing for Nov sweeps, he said it would start the end of Oct, so that kind of fits into your time frame.....don't know what sounds happy about it though!!

And as I said, it appears that Sami was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time and happens to witness the shooting. The gunman could've been hired by just about anyone which is fine with me since the mayor is a creep!

I was thinking that Sami was going to get a job at the town hall or something and get caught in the crossfire. I agree, this does sound good. Poor Sami. Do we know what the scandal involving Abe is going to be about? Could he be involved in the shooting? That would be really out of character, but what else has he done wrong? Based on my info, I'm going to try to piece together how the scene plays out: Mendoza's character as a gunman: Obviously hired by someone. Perhaps in the next week or so, we'll start getting more hints about this. Marino also has scenes with Stefano before the shooting happens. Marino goes to see Stefano, rings the bell and gets his bell rung by a gunshot wound to the chest. Sami, walking up to the door, witnesses the shooting and the panicked gunman turns the weapon on her. I have no idea what happens after that! Later on, Sami is with EJ and is really upset.
