Glad to hear Richard Culliton is coming back. He wrote during the transition period in 2006 between Reilly and Hogan, didn't he? Under Beth Milstein? Didn't Culliton write those wonderful Jack and Jennfier scenes leading up to their exit? I remember him being praised for actually getting Jack and Jennifer. |

I always got the feeling that Ed Scott was the one that did not like Nick. Not long after Scott came Nick got backburned and when Scott was fired Nick started to be on more again. |

Richard Culliton is now on the writing team at DAYS?! Finally, something to be excited about! |

Could be true. Definitely plausible. |

I just did some research and it was not Culliton that wrote for Jack and Jennifer well, seeing as he's only been at DAYS in 2001. |

I didn't think he was at DAYS in 2006. However, he's a great writer and this show needs as many of those as it can get. I have a feeling this was another Tomlin move. |

I know, but I watch the other shows as well, for some reason I'm feeling it's GH or Y&R. Edited by leelee, Oct 3 2008, 04:09 PM.

Really? If it has, that's good because I'm even used to them now. Don't like them but can watch them and enjoy them at times. Then maybe you are right in that it can work. I'm not sure if Richard Culliton was there in 2006. I know Anne Schoettle came back just to write J&J's farewell. Richard J. Allen wrote the COD, a big arc for J&J so maybe your confusing him with Culliton. I don't think Culliton has been with Days in a long while. He is a great SW though so it's a good move. With Myers and Ford coming back as well, my hope is that maybe Brash and SLG return too at some point. As for Scott not liking Nick, that is very possible. I can see that argument. |

Ah, yes! My memory is fuzzy but I think he was around for the early part of the year when the show was on fire with the Victor/Kate stuff, the coronation, Jack's return, etc. Mason is right though. The show can use someone of his talents. I've been liking the scripts more and more recently. Breakdown has really been the biggest weakness under Higley but with Tomlin getting the writing team back into a normal order with people filling more defined roles, the breakdowns should improve by default. |

Is it JUST possible this is one of those false rumors that are planted to see who is leaking stuff? I mean, how long has this damn "vet on the bubble plus one other actress" crap been going on? I have heard that false information gets leaked just to plug up said leak and track it down. The Ari and Bryan not getting along stuff had me rather surprised, too. Much like some of the buzz earlier around here (maybe speculation) that Ali and Bryan were on the outs. If the other shoe is going to get dropped, I would rather have it official. No offense, Nelson. But, I'm tired of innuendos and blind items and speculation. LOL to heartsong: "out like Higley was out!" Good point. :D Edited by ladyofthelake, Oct 3 2008, 04:15 PM.

It's weird that, in the past few weeks, I've went from actively enjoying the show to outright not wanting to be bothered. Back from the beginning of the year til the first week or so of September, I had, at least, cared to watch Days or pay attention to it. But with them dumping Ed Scott and just.. the depth of the show seems to be getting sapped out. It's just. I don't know, they killed me caring about the show. Days gets renewed? So what, two more years of this horse shit that they're putting on right now? Gering and Martsolf being casted was a horrible, horrible move. Kicking off Kristen Renton, when her coupling with Phillip was just ready to start moving, was another. And now that it seems they might cast some other shithead to pair with Melanie when there's the potential for a hot Chelsea/Nick/Melanie triangle? Guh. This show at least had some soul for the past half of year. Now it has no soul, no action, no tension. Which makes it even worse than General Hospital, which is at least fun in a "turn your brain off action movie" sort of way. I don't really care about Dattilo potentially leaving, but I think that he could have a helluva story with Kate potentially dying. Maybe he turns to the bottle again and Bill comes back to Salem and they can bring up some issues between the two of them. SOMETHING. Dena needs to be fired, can Tomlin and then hey need to work something out with the WGA to get Ed Scott and his team back. |

Oh, YEAH. The whole "Ali is the diva" and no one really confirmed if he said it seriously or not. Sorry, not buying it. He didn't say it in an official interview, and no one can really say for FACT if he meant it, so that's not really valid to me. |

Yes, and if you note, that blog HAS been removed. Which to me, shows what it showed when that thread was out.......that it's all speculation and full of holes. Not enough for me. |
