SOAPNET rejects "MANHATTANITES"

Wanting to focus on classic studio films such as "MOMMY DEAREST", SOAPNet has recently rejected the possibility of airing the independent feature motion picture "MANHATTANITES" starring some of ABC's best daytime actors from ALL MY CHILDREN Aiden Turner (Aidan) and Jill Larson (Opal) and from ONE LIFE TO LIVE Ilene Kristen (Roxie), David Fumero (Cristian) and Forbes March (ex-Nash). The film, directed by Gregori J. Martin and co-directed by Darnell Williams (Jesse, AMC) is a Loger Inc. production based on the popular online radio soap SCRIPTS & SCRUPLES (executive producers Roger Newcomb & Lyle Kamenir) that follows the lives of several Manhattanites who face strange coincidental incidents that eventually force them to come to grips with what's really important! To see the trailer or for more information on the film log onto their official website at http://www.manhattanitesthemov...

If you would like to see MANHATTANITES on the air, we need you to write to any/all of the following at ABC/SOAPNet/Buena Vista and request the film.

Adam Rockmore
(Senior VP of Marketing)

Ann Lewis-Roberts
(Senior VP of Development)
