LMAO, this is so horrible to laugh at, but Frons is such a punk.

Just a GH marathon, what a slap in the face to other soap fans. Although this is no suprise coming from the wacko's that head SoapNet.

DAYS has had its fair share of awesome 'thons on Soapnet. We can't complain! LOL.

I think what's most annoying about this is that it's a Christmas marathon. You know? I mean, it's not like GH is the only soap that's ever done Christmas episodes, LoL. It's Christmas Day, damn it! Give all soap fans a treat!

Days has had its fair share of marathons, but they haven't had one in quite a while now. I don't even remember what the last one was. Wasn't it a year ago -- the Possession marathon in October of '07?

I don't think Y&R has ever had a marathon. Is SOAPnet even allowed to play Y&R classics? I'm not sure. Anyway, I would've really loved to see some Y&R classics, as well.

Compared to all the other shows, GH has obviously gotten the most love re: classic episode marathons. How many Sonny and Brenda specials have we gotten now? LoL

That's true. it would be nice if there were like a ten hour marathon - two Christmas ep's for each soap.

Yeah, it's only GH again, but I can't wait to rewatch the episodes from 96 and 98. LOL!

1996 and 1998 were fantastic years for GH, I'd go as far as to say that 1998 was GH's last truly great year.

They might as well. Its not like they should be worrying about ratings, its' the 25th. Only a small few will be watching it live, and the other shows wont have anything to air that day anyway.

So why not dip into the AMC and OLTL archives atleast since they own the whole catalogue? And of course, something from Days and Y&R. Even just to cover whatever would normally air in their slots that thursday.

I don't get the point of Kirsten Storms and Bradford Anderson hosting this marathon, since they appeared in none of the episodes being shown. Also, who needs their commentary when you just want to watch the episodes?

This way when you're watching you'll able to see what you've lost.

It sucks that the other shows don't get this special treatment, but GH must bring in most ratings for SoapNet, so of course they're going to capitalize on that and promote it more than the other four.

While I would love to see marathons of classic Y&R, DAYS and OLTL, I can understand why the network has chosen GH instead.

According to SoapNet's October ratings report, Y&R is SoapNet's highest rated show in regards to same day episodes. AMC is #2, and I believe GH is #3.

I understand if Sony doesn't want them to air classic Y&R or DAYS, but ignoring AMC and OLTL when SoapNet is an ABC owned property is bizarre.
