It's funny because now that Eden is leaving, many seem to have adjusted to the actress. Go Figure! I don't think the Winters are boring per se, its the stories they get that suck. If they spent half the time thinking of something creative for the Winters, rather than exploiting the Fishers in continuous stupid plots, then things woul be much better. Plus, I think Karen/Nia Peebles is a HUGE asset to the show. That lady does nuance like no other, and is a breath of fresh air! I think Tyra needs to mix it up with the Abbotts over at Jobot now. |

You see, I don't think Rowell was good in that scene at all, too OTT for my tastes. But Tonya, was suberb as usual. On a superficial note, Dru's mom looked like Scar from the Lion King LOL |

Great scene. The Barbers were great. I'd love to see something similar to them again. |

That scene I just think she could have played it differently, i.e better. I hope are difference of opinion doesn't mean our affair will stop anytime soon cupcake! |

Tonya IS a better actress than Victoria Rowell. Rowell is perfect for Dru, but she chews a lot of scenery and can come ass as way too cartoonish sometimes. Tonya, on the other hand, is a very layered actress. She can play subtext very well. She's a very natural actress, much more than Victoria Rowell. |

I KNOW! LOL Sometimes though, she just ruins it. The scene could have been SO much more powerful if it was taking more seriously. |

The thing about Rowell's acting is that she can sometimes veer off into cartoon territory. She doesn't play subtle moments when she's supposed to, while Dru is a larger than life character, sometimes Rowell's acting would gloss over the subtext and nuances that would make her acting better. Rowell is perfect for the role of Dru, but she's a fairly average actress overall. Kind of like how Susan Lucci is perfect for Erika Kane or how Alison Sweeney is perfect for Sami Brady. |

Well, good, bad or ugly, one of the many thing I like about Victoria, which is lacking in many young actresses, is that she put a lot of effort and thought into her role. She has PASSION.....unlike the sleep-walker that plays Victoria of the half-assed Christel/Lily. |

I wish I could find the scene from a few years ago when Drucilla slides down the bookcase in tears after Lily finds out that she's not Neil's daughter. That was awesome! I can't find it on YouTube though. |

That poses the question....did Victoria Rowell ENJOY slapping Christel in that one scene? |

That I can agree with. She IS perfect for the role of Drucilla. How I miss Heather and Davetta. Heather was so damn fierce as Victoria, I could watch her all day. |
