IMO. Have you read the 2009 previews? It sounds like we're gonna have more of the partner swapping. It sounds like they'll be flirting with the idea of Chelsea/Daniel again, Kate will be floating between two men, and Chloe will be licking her chops for Daniel while planning her wedding to Lucas. It's such an aimless mess! Chelsea and Dan are done. Just because Chelsea is shocked by Kate dumping him means nothing. I would expect her to act that way given the history there. Max/Chelsea is the clear direction and Daniel/Chloe. I don't know how a little mention of Chelsea being shocked by what happens with Dan and Kate means they are on the path to reconciliation LOL. And what is wrong with Kate floating between two men? It's about damn time. Not like she is really with someone worth a damn anyway LOL. People should be happy about that spoiler. I think the partner swapping thing is blown out of proportion. Yes, they chemistry tested alot last year but that is because they went through so many frickin cast changes, regime changes, and backstage BS that we are lucky the show didn't split itself in two just to hash it all out. Since Tomlin came in, it's settled down and they have picked direction for the pairings so I don't see how the partner-swapping complaint is relevant now. Hell, it was never much of a big deal. It was the least of the show's problems.

Posts: 5,341 Group: Veteran Member #70 Joined: June 14, 2007	Maybe Higley was a fan of this summers show Swingtown on CBS and thats why we have so many different couplings..Its just hard not knowing who to root for..Although i give her props for finally breaking up Max and Stephanie..I'm very happy about Phillip and Stephanie..I'm not sure how i feel about Max and Chelsea though, but glad to be getting one good couple out of the breakup..

It was the least of the show's problems. Wow, direction for pairings that few people want to see. Everyone on here knows that I'm a diehard Chloe fan, so that is where my interest lies. They have bounced this poor character all over Salem this year and this is the crap they finally wind up with??? They went from one totally contrived and ridiculous pairing to an even nastier and sleazier pairing and because it has "direction" her fans are suppose to rub their hands in glee. Just when I thought they couldn't bring this character any lower, they have suprised me yet again. They took a character that could have been one of the future heroines of this show and turned her into the piece of "meat" in a sandwich of two unrootable couples. Nice!!

It isn't action packed drama of DAYS past, but I do not think it sounds bad.

The fact that Max has just been bounced from one niece to another has put a damper on the joy Stax's breakup gave me.
