GET EM STEPH!!

Wait, so Ari didn't make the list for Days but for a web soap? That's great but she should've been recognized for Days, Nelson. That is really my only complaint on this list. That and Days should've been nominated for directing.

^^ Agree on both, Tim. Also I thought Days should have made the cut for casting.

^Good point, Ellie.

I did like the nod to Dee though and to JER. Those were very nice.

Thanks Nelson ....

I think many of the noms are bogus - there are alot of actors on those list who overact and could benefit from acting lessons. I guess that must be the criteria - if you overact you get a nomination!

Like who? (Seriously - I'm curious who you're thinking of.)

On another note, I was surprised not to see Drake. He's had a great year imo.

I like all of these noms. The only one thing I have to say is where is MCE from AMC. She has made Annie fun to watch!

Ah yes, that is a huge omission, IMO. However, every awards show has them. Plus, La Strasser and Bitchy Bangs made it. And really that is all that really matters.

Yeah. MCE is a big omission.

Every awards shows have omissions but I think when you have as many nominations in some categories as Nelson has, you can fit as many as you want in providing you recall everyone and everything this year LOL.

Way too much OLTL love for me, and it's the most over-rated soap of 2008 for me.

I still love ya, Nels! LOL.

^I felt the same, King, until recently. While OLTL is slowing down a bit, November was superb and so was May and June. The rest was highly overrated IMO.

I would've liked some more balance in these but that doesn't take away from the fact that pretty much all the OLTL and Y&R nominees deserved it. I do think some of the GH people didn't although I'm enjoying the show of late.

Weirdly, I think the show I watched the most this year, after DAYS, was GH. I really don't mind the mob show like most people do. I never watched GH in its glory days when it was about the actual hospital though so...LOL.

I never quit watching it. I just hated most of what I was seeing but I've been enjoying it now since around October.

There seems to be more focus on other things in addition to the mob. I like Sonny/Claudia. I like Maxie/Spinelli. I'm excited about Lucky/Liz and Jason/Sam. I'm enjoying alot of it right now. It still needs work but it's better IMO.

GL for SET DESIGN?! I guess if I decorated a closet, I be nominated too.

The Spaulding Study was a great re-do, but that's about it. And some of those locations were UGLY too(remember Cassie's condemned farmhouse in the very beginning? Oy vey!).
