From: SID 1/19 Issue Out: Even though they just showed up in Oakdale ATWT's Maddie and Lucy will be leaving town again! Kelly Barrett last airs as Maddie on January 5th, while Sarah Glendening's last airs as Lucy on January 7th. A show rep says that both roles were intended to be brief stints, Maddie was supposed to act as a catalyst to take both the Luke/Noah and the Alison/Casey stories to the next stage; and Lucy to bring Johnny back to town. Johnny played by Bailey Harkins will remain in Oakdale as a tug of war over him brews between Craig and Dusty. SID also notes that since Maddie and Lucy are recurring characters they can reappear at any time, and that a future visit from Lucy could already be in the works. In: Eric William Morris's Matt is on his way back to Oakdale sometime in Febuary. Alex Charak who was the original INTURN winner is supposed to be reprising his role of Elwood soon, speculation is that he could have been Matt's newest cellmate. On The Way Out Possibly?: Laurence Lau says that when ATWT first called him they thought his storyline may go three months, so far though he's lasted a few months past that. SID is speculating that once Lucinda learns that her new husband is gay and came on to her grandson that she will run him out of town on a rail. ATWT had no comment at press time, but SID has heard that Lau finished filming and should only air through January. |

NOOOOOOO! What will the World be like without Lube?! I feel like starting one of those fan campaigns to keep Larry Lau on the show and involved with Van Hansis' Luke. We should all send in Astroglide in support of "Lube." |

I actually liked Brian. Shame because Lube was 10,000 times more interesting then Nuke. |

Not on-camera. I don't think they've even implied it. How can you have gay sex without Lube?! ATWT is making a BIG mistake! |

I didn't think the actress they got to play Maddie was bad, but having Alex back would have made this transition work sooooooo much better. Way to mess up another story, Jean.

I liked Brian too. I thought that Maddie was okay. They certainly didn't have her on that long. |

The ATWT revolving door is so entertaining for all the worst reasons. Could you imagine having the same characters recast three or four times in a couple of years on any other soap? Between the constant recasting and the Psycho of the Month recycled stories they've been cycling through for about two years straight now, I can't make heads or tails of that show anymore. It's mind-boggling to watch. |

ATWT needs new blood that know the Dougles M Rules. hell i would love Tom C. and Martha to get the show straighten out. Martha as EP and may show up as Lily went she feels like it. |

I am guessing Alexandra Chando said no, if she was even asked, to return for a short term stint. It was pointless to bring back established characters like Maddie and Lucy for a 2 week stint. |

If my memory serves correctly, Alex is involved with something now that conflicted with a possible return. (A Web series, perhaps?) |
