Apparently the real coronation song is titled "No Boundaries." It was written by Kara DioGuardi.

Source: IDF

"So I was capping my local FOX affiliate (FOX 7 Austin) just now and they had a reporter down in LA and she said that apparently the coronation song is called "No Boundaries" and was written by Kara. I'm working on uploading the whole segment. Gimme a few minutes."

I just read on MJ's board that Adam is singing Mad World with a Twist. And Kris is either going to sing Heartless or Falling Slowly. Most likly it well be Falling Slowly. I really hope he does Falling Slowly out of the two. He just did Heartless last week. And I don't think he should chance it, since it was a major hit for him last week. And he'll have to do better this time with it.

I agree. "Heartless" would be a huge mistake for Kris. It's just not a smart choice to sing the same song two weeks in a row. "Falling Slowly" is a much better choice.

As for "Mad World" with a twist, umm... I take this to mean that Adam will ruin it. That song is perfect the way it is (the Gary Jules version) and he did a decent job with it the first time. He's running a big risk by changing it, IMO. Especially if he changes it to that craptastic Tears For Fears version from the 80's. Yuck!

Now am reading on MJ'S website that the reports were wrong about Kris and he isn't singing any of the two songs that were listed.

Perez is pimping Adam hardcore on his website.

He's posted at least twenty updates about him in the last three days alone. No surprise, since Adam's good friends with Katy Perry and Katy's good friends with Perez.

Steve Martin Comes to 'American Idol'

Steve Martin and his five-string banjo are set to perform on the 'American Idol' season finale, along with some other recognizable acts.

Martin will perform a song he wrote from his CD titled The Crow: New Songs for the Five-Sting Banjo (Rounder). The album goes on sale today!

In addition to having a Grammy and Emmy award winning actor/comedian/musician on "Idol," the show also welcomes back "Idol" winners Carrie Underwood and David Cook for special performances.

Allen + Urban = something I'll look forward to. However, I cannot STAND Cyndi Lauper; have hated her squeaky, tiresome voice for many years. Ugh. I don't like Danny but maybe Lionel Richie will make him tolerable.

Apparently Adam is wearing an outfit tonight that involves a bit of alligator and shiny stones. Ryan says it will "get an interesting reaction" and "won't soon be forgotten."

Adam and Kris seem like close friends and seem so excited about tonight in that press conference video.

"No Boundaries" does not like the typical coronation song, which is a good thing. That is why I wanted them to pick Kara's song because I had a feeling she would keep it from being like past coronation songs.

No surprise on Perez pimping Adam. The outfit he is said to be wearing could very well turn people off to him. That seems a bit too extreme and you know animal activists will jump all over that. Ryan is right...it should definitely get an interesting reaction LOL.

No Britney, eh? Oh well. They will just try again next year LOL. Looking forward to Keith Urban and Kris. Santana and the Idols should be good too. Steve Martin is random but interesting. I love him LOL. I figured Adam would be singing with a rock group. I don't buy the David Bowie rumors. My cable guide has the show going over time and ending at 10:07 EST. I bet it doesn't end until 10:30, especially since all they air is Seinfeld reruns at that time. They have a whole lot to do in two hours, even if the judges are not talking. I don't mind it because with so much going on it will likely move fast. People should know by now that they should allow for at least an extra half hour on the DVR LOL.

I'm all for Adam singing Mad World but he doesn't need to do it with a twist. I don't think the judges would even advocate for that. Usually on finale night when they repeat a performance, it's kept the same and you simply strive to perform just as well if not better then the first time. Adam could wind up doing more harm then good doing that. He already has enough problems with the anti-Adam fans, Danny fans switching to Kris, the pimping, etc but between the outfit and changing up what was his best performance IMO and the performance that started convincing me to like him...I'm thinking this may not end well. Maybe he is going to try to tank on purpose. Maybe he figures he is better off losing and that Kris needs it more. Who knows but rather strange.

Kris does not have to sing "Falling Slowly". I wouldn't mind it but he had other great performances. He could do"Ain't No Sunshine," which was really the performance that opened people's eyes to him and was the performance he had the first and only time he went last on the show. The only one I would stay away from is "Heartless" because he just did it. He could also pull a David Cook and choose to not go for a repeat performance in favor of something new. I wouldn't mind that either. It's a risk but if you feel strongly enough about it, go for it. It could end up being more impressive then a repeat performance, just like what happened with David Cook.

Not bad at all.

It's been awhile since he did it (top 9 week) so it will feel sort of new. It was one of his strongest performances too.

Many are speculating that Adam is going to sing "Mad World" acapella.
