Ricky was/is one of Paula's favorites. She talked about him in an interview, so I wouldn't be surprised if he came back as a wild card. |

I really hate that they're only letting the highest voted male, female and one other person go through. I loved three of the guys (Anoop, Danny and Ricky Braddy) and chances are, only one or two of them will make it through. Ricky Braddy was by far the best male vocalist last night, but up until now, they haven't shown him at all. He's had no airtime, so he doesn't have the familiarity factor that some of the other contestants do. He also performed VERY early in the episode, which is never a good thing. As a result, I feel like he has no shot of making it through, and that completely blows. As for the females, pretty much all of them sucked last night. Ann Marie Boskovich has potential, but I wasn't feeling her performance. Jackie Tohn's performance was terrifyingly bad, Alexis Grace was a wannabe and Casey Carlson should be jailed for butchering that song the way she did. Stevie Wright was shockingly bad. The only decent one was -- surprisingly -- Tatiana del Toro. I hope she makes it through! *crosses fingers* That amazing trainwreck is far too good to go home this early. Here's what I predict will happen tonight... Top Voted Male: Danny Gokey Top Voted Female: Alexis Grace (BLECH!) Third Place: Michael Sarver or Anoop Desai. Spoiler: click to toggle With any luck, Ricky Braddy will be chosen as one of the Wild Cards down the road. Or Anoop. I hate the thought of losing either of them! This whole format sucks. We could end up losing some really talented people who don't deserve to go while being stuck with a bunch of fodder instead. |

Why am I having such a hard time getting into this season? I put on last night's episode, and I am just having a hard time clicking with anyone. I've watched the first three performances, and I'm so bored. |

Probably because so many people sucked out loud last night, LoL. I have a few favorites who are actually good, but they'll probably be screwed over. |

God, make that four. Brent Keith was pretty bad too. I couldn't believe they compared Alexis to K. Clarks either. What a joke! This Stevie Wright is ADORABLE, but is she for real with this performance? Oh my god! The nerves must have gotten to her. |

This format totally stinks. It is the way they did it the first couple of seasons. I didn't like it then because it always seemed like more girls got through because they would diva it out for one night and it would get them through. In the past it was just the top two each week and then you had the wild card where you got four more which had you end up with the top 12. At least with a guys night and then a girls night you could weed people out slowly. Good singers who maybe had a bad night were able to redeem themselves. Sometimes I do think the singers are damn if they do and damn if they don't. You try to pick a song that would showcase the type of singer you would be and you get called out by the judges as being too safe. Yet you pick something that you think is different you get called out by the judges for poor song choice. It sure didn't seem that when they put these groups together they tried to balance it out. I wonder if after they know they are the top 36, they randomly pick what week they will end up singing. I think in other seasons every guy (except Steven) could have been in the top 6. I thought they were all solid and good singers. Danny is definitely through. I think the other one will be either Michael or Anoop with the other getting a chance at the Wild Card week with Ricky and Maybe Brent getting to the Wild Card week. |

Yeah I still don't get that comment at all. Didn't Simon make that whole Kelly Clarkson comment to someone last year too? Wasn't it Carly after the first Beatles week? |

Cubs, I think the the groups were randomly chosen. I agree the format is weird. They should just pick 30. Have them perform, ten each episode, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Top 12 go through no matter which night they all performed on...if the top 12 vote getters are all on one night...so be it. |

Aw, I like Anoop Dogg! Whoever this is singing "Every Little Thing" is really annoying. She's like Angelina Jolie on Speed. |

She kind of looks like Rachel Bilson from the OC! Oh my god. She was awful! I can see the Sarah Palin comparison. LOL. If you were a girl singing last night, the odds were in your favor. They all suck. |

I liked Michael Sarver! A little nervous, but at least he is a real person. All of these people are all fake in front of the cameras. ugh. Gross. He was good. And he should sit on my face immediately. |

I liked Ann Marie, but the judges didn't...shock. I find it odd they are talking about "who you are as an artist." Considering 24 people will go back to their normal lives and never be an artist......right now, I think they should just prove they can conquer the nerves and sing well. When it gets down to the final 12, they can distinguish themselves as artists. |

Me too! LoL At first, she just drove me up the wall, but the more I see her the more I appreciate her special brand of crazy. She's the trainwreck gift that keeps on giving! Plus, she can actually sing, so... I hope she makes it! |
