I'm with Paula. Adam stole the show and blew the whole competition away. Just like Randy said, he could take that performance and sell it right now. Way to go Adam and I hope he wins it all. Next I loved Danny to pieces but he isn't the show like Adam is. Then Lil. She definitely is best of the girls. I think Jasmine and Jorge will go home. |

Isn't the west coast still voting? They are three hours behind and with the two hour voting window, the final figures should not be in until...twenty minutes from now. I'm being nit-picky but I'm in that kind of mood tonight LOL. The results will probably look the same so whatever. . |

I'm alright with the judges choosing who goes home (out of the bottom two) until we reach Top 5 or so. After that point, it should be the public's decision. I can't believe that Allison Iraheta is so low! If the judges weren't making the final call this year, that definitely would've been a shocking elimination. |

I could kind of support VFTW keeping Megan around. Girl's definitely different. And I like it. Anyway ... my quick thoughts as I'm kinda pressed for time, haha. I'll start with the ladies ... LIL Good choice. Suited her. I agree with whoever (sorry) said she's got a great vibe! She does and the stage suits her and she's got decent vocals. Not the best she could probably do. I'd rank it as a step-above the rest but not the most fantastic. JASMINE A good song choice for her. I felt she sang pretty good and I don't think the judges give her enough credit. They act all shocked she can sing. Um, well, YOU GUYS put her through! I just don't see her stage presence at all, like Kara raves EVERY.SINGLE.TIME she sings. I think she'll probably be in the bottom. ALLISON Not the worst, not the best. She's got a great voice but it wasn't all that memorable. Frankly, I can't even remember what the girl sang and she's one of my initial favorites. It wasn't stand-out enough. In a sea of pretty good performers, you gotta stand out. I think that will be key this season: memorable performances and ESPECIALLY song choice. MEGAN LMAO! Love her! I'm so ... thrilled she chose Rockin' Robin! It was by far a cooky, yet memorable performance. She reminds me of a blonde Haley Scarnato. Very very pretty, constantly smiles, has a pretty good voice but there just isn't much there. I think it was a brave choice for her to sing. Time will tell if it was smart or not. I do hope she sticks around for a few weeks just to see what else she can do. I agree with the judges that she needs to show her range more. It was very one-note almost. ALEXIS Talk about oversinging! I was worried she was having a spasm! Girl was a hot mess and she looked like a hooker on crack singing and dancing like that. I do NOT like her and as hard as I try to, there is just SOMETHING about her that bugs the living crap out of me. I can't pinpoint it but wow, talk about over-hyped. The boys ... ADAM By far the most memorable. I thought the majority of it was GREAT and very fun to watch, but he did oversing a couple of parts. This goes against my first impression last night of "amazing! wow! awesome!" etc. But re-watch his performance a couple of times and you'll notice the over-singing and almost cringeworthy moments. And I'm sorry but Paula made me burst out laughing. DANNY I found Danny to be much better than Adam, more subtle. Just a subtle, yet GOOD performance. I'm still not his biggest fan and I probably won't be, but he was good and has a surprisingly good voice. Not much else to say. ANOOP I didn't like the judges trashing him, but I kinda laughed at him singing "Beat It". Vocally, it was okay. It was kind of "off" though, if that makes sense and the boy does not do emotion well. It was painful to watch him emote. Sorry fans, but it was. SCOTT I don't want to sound offensive but he's hard to watch. He really is. I think it's great he's going after his dream, but he just is so awkward. I understand why, obviously. He didn't sound very good, either. Wasn't his best by any means but he'll of course stick around for probably quite a while. MATT I thought it was a good vocal, but frankly, I think you guys overpraise him just a tad. He's really not THAT good. Picked a good song choice but something about him bugs me. I don't know, but I wasn't all that impressed by him. Very boring performance. MICHAEL How I wish he would go home! He's just not that good. Picked the right song for himself, but watching him try to sing was laughable. Why is he so liked again? Such a wasted spot. JORGE Wow. Poor guy. He butchered the song and was very very painful to watch. I can't even say anymore than that. KRIS Very underrated performer. I really really like him and honestly, he's my dark horse pick to surprise everyone. I'd love him to steal the competition away from Danny or Adam. I hope he doesn't land in the bottom. The other guys are lucky that they have sob stories. It's the only way they can get past Kris, IMO. I wasn't that thrilled overall with his performance and in watching again, couldn't really understand the lyrics at time, but he reminds me of a lot of past performers who start off slow but really surprise everyone. Overall ... Michael or Jorge SHOULD go home because they were painful to watch. Especially Jorge, but I think it will be Jasmine for sure. Allison/Jorge/Megan/Jasmine are who I think will be in the bottom of the pack and it's a crap-shoot who goes home, really. If it were votes, I could see Jasmine going (I'm going against Dial Idol). If it's the judges ... Jasmine and Jorge are my picks to go tonight. |

I found Jorge and Jasmine to be pretty boring. The rest, I mostly enjoyed. I think this season is chock full of talent. I still love Danny, and he is by far my favorite. I really do not enjoy Adam. He is way too over the top for my taste. He is definitely talented, no question, but he just bugs me. I've never been into the screechy style of singing. I, too, was annoyed when they critisized Alexis for over singing, but praised Adam for it. He over sang way more than she did, IMO. Anyway, blah, seems like Adam is going to be my token annoying person for the season. |

"I think my new nick name for Adam Lambert will be Auntie Lambert, because he looks like an auntie. He has too much make up on, his hips are wider than his shoulders, and all these gold chains. Watching his standing up there he looked oddly like the ghost of Suzanne Pleshette" - Michael Buckley LMAO Edited by Rick, Mar 11 2009, 12:58 PM.

LOL! I don't think I noticed that last night. I don't like Megan. She sounds like she is talking half of the time instead of singing. I find her irritating too. |

I don't get why Megan sang that song unless she wanted to upset Simon with his hate of all songs that are about birds. |

Honestly, it's the only song I could've seen her singing. Any other Michael Jackson song would've been ripped apart by her, because she has a very unique voice that doesn't fit most songs. "Rockin' Robin" is pretty much the only option she had, LoL. |

Okay, I like this twist! The judges have the power to veto one of the eliminations just ONCE, up until the Top 5. They can't use the power more than once, and if they do use it to save someone, the following week will be a double elimination. Their decision has to be unanimous, as well. That's much better than choosing who goes home from the Bottom 2 every week. |

Yeah I have no problem with this one because they can only use it once. Although I have to say for both Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtry the best thing in the long run is that they were eliminated so early because it gave them both that extra buzz. |

Michael, Matt, Kris, Megan and Allison are safe. (YAY MEGAN! LoL) DialIdol must've been wrong, because they were showing Allison in the Bottom 2. Jasmine's going bye-bye! The judges decided not to save her. Her singing sucks, and that performance she just gave was even worse than last night. Aww, she's crying. :( |

Scott is safe. Alexis is safe. Danny is safe. Meh... Anoop is called to the center of the stage. :( I genuinely liked him last night! LoL. Adam Lambert is safe. Lil Rounds is safe. Jorge is called to the center of the stage. I hope he gets the boot. Results after commercial... blah. |

YAY! Anoop is safe. Jorge is going home. LoL @ the "deliberating" judges and all Paula's doing is dancing. The judges aren't saving him. Simon is so harsh! |
