I don't know what it is with this season but as I was watching the results show I felt like I was only doing it out of habit. There is just nothing there that excites me about it each week. |

Jasmine and Jorge going home was fine by me. No hate, but no love either. Great to see Kelly especially the joke about the song being about Simon and Ryan. :P |

I didn't really like Jasmine or Jorge, so I am ok with those two going. I still think they should put Jessie through on the Wild Card instead of Jasmine. I like the twist too. I doubt anyone thought they would actually use it on someone tonight. I agree that is better then the judges having the power every week. I liked Kelly, but I hate Kanye! |

I don't think I can watch Scott anymore, LoL. He makes me so uncomfortable. I know it's not his fault that he's blind, but it's to awkward to watch him up on that stage. Especially during the group performances. Instead of watching the cheesy group performance as a whole, I find myself watching ONLY him in anticipation of whether or not he's going to fall or stumble or trip over someone's leg, LoL. Plus, he always has a look of complete terror and confusion on his face. It makes me feel bad for him! It's awkward to watch him singing some upbeat dance-y song while looking like he's ready to vomit through the entire number. It's distracting, and honestly, he has no shot at being a mainstream music artist today. The longer he continues in the competition, the more guilt people will feel for voting him out and he'll end up sticking around much longer than needed. I say just get rid of him now. As for tonight's show, it was boring for the most part. The results were predictable. I liked seeing Kelly, but her voice sounded a little hoarse and she's obviously got a little extra junk in the trunk, LoL. |

"Grand Ole Opry" Week on American Idol America’s top-rated television show is about to join forces for a week with the "Show That Made Country Music Famous!" American Idol will feature a Grand Ole Opry theme on March 17 & 18, as contestants will select and perform songs popularized by Opry members! Truly the worst of the 13 left tonight. Depending on performances next week, I think Kris will go. Don't know who else comes to mind. Personally, I believe that Megan sang that song specifically to her daughter knowing full well that at least she had one shot to keep for her forever. Sweet. OK, I love Anoop and just hope he can stay safe for the top ten. Speaking of the top ten. What are they doing next week, vote off one and end up with the top ten? Also speakinig of Alexis, she overshot the mark by a mile and ruined it for herself. That dress was vulgar and her screeching was painful. But, she must have a following for at least the first vote week but she must tone it down and show her real talent from here on out. |

Okay so next week being country week could be interesting. This is going to be the real test for me anyway. Can they take a country song and make it work for them. So far in this crop of people I haven't seen anyone who I think that could do that. This has the potential to be a train wreck. And we all know how much Simon loves country music. |

I hope Simon enjoys country week especially with 11 performers he will have to listen to a lot of it. Glad it is only a veto power and not a full change to X-Factor kind of decision. |

LOL. I can't wait to see Simon grimace during 11 country songs! Can't wait to see Carrie! I don't see Kris going next week Jean. It's country week and I would assume it would be something he could sing, and sing well. If anything, I could see Anoop going. I can't picture him doing country well. |

Man, I hate country week. I cannot personally stand country music, and listening to these kids, who are usually not country artists, try to sing it is almost always painful to me. As far as last night goes, I agreed with who went bye-bye. Kenny, I disagree about Scott, I think he is super talented and deserves to be there. I do not think he will win, but I do not think he should be eliminated already just because he looks awkward on stage. I don't think he will make it for many more weeks, only because I think there are a few others who stand out too far beyond him, but as for who is there now, I think he still deserves to be among them. Although I like them, and I am sure they have fans, I could see Michael Sarver and Megan Corkerey (sp?) going before him ... just based on talent. JMO, of course. |

I bet Megan does Dolly's "Why'd Ya Come In Here Lookin' Like That?" or Pam Tillis' "Cleoparta, Queen of Denial" |

OK, WTF are the judges smoking? I absolutely despise Adam Lambert! Seriously. I am so fucking pissed. This happens every God damn season! They pick some unlikable piece of shit to pimp out for us. Fantasia, Katherine McPhee, David Archuleta. I am so fucking sick of this show doing this. His vocals are not good. Sure, it's entertaining, but the screaming and the butchering...? It's also really shitty for them to give Danny and Adam the "finals" bit already in the first week. Everyone wants to support the winner and say they loved the winner from the start. I am sure that garnished them a lot of votes and support. Worst of the night for me were Adam, Jasmine, and Jorge so I was really satisfied with the results. Best of the night I thought were Allison and Alexis, which is weird because I didn't like her in the semi's. LOL. |

I wanna know what some of you guys are smoking! LOL! I love Adam and think he is one of the best they have ever had. I agree that the judges shouldn't be talking about who should be in the final yet though. |

^^^ LOL, Angie, sorry. I cannot STAND him. My best friend loves him because she saw him in Wicked like 4 times, or something, and has his autograph and thinks he is fabulousity, but I just don't see it. Whatever. To each their own. I'm partial to Danny, Anoop, Matt, Alexis, Allison, and Lil. |

Okay, so I finally watched Idol.. I thought most of them sang well. But I guess I am one of the few people that never liked Michael Jackson, so I was bored for most of the night. I though Lil did a great job. She sang great. Has an amazing voice control. Should stay in the competition for a long time. Scott was okay, but I actually had him in bottom two for me. It was boring. I don't remember who was next, so I'll just comment randomly.. Alison was good. She sticks with her style and I liked it. Kris was good, kinda couldn't sing high notes, but I could go for a Jason Mraz-y kinda singer.. I like Mraz, so I could like Kris, but I definitely want him to stay (for reasons, other than his singing.. :D) Michael Sarver was actually good. I hated him during top 36, when he sang Gavin DeGraw... but I thought he did okay. Again, I was bored, because I don't really like Jackson songs. Megan was funny, but weird in a way. She definitely has a voice, but not her best night. I thought Jasmine sings great for a young girl. I would have never placed her in bottom two. Same with Jorge. Anoop kinda disappointed me. Didn't like it very much and actually hoped he and Scott would leave. I loved Danny Gokey. Adam Lambert was NOT in a league of his own. I hope he's the shocking elimination this season. But my luck, judges will save their veto until Adam or Gokey are in danger. That said, I didn't hate him last night. I thought he was good, but not as good as judges make him to be. I actually didn't mind Alexis' oversinging. I thought it worker out well and I liked her. She did look whorish. Did I miss anyone? Oh, Matt Giraud.. I didn't like him very much. Don't know why. I thought judges were so rude because they were rushing to finish the show in time. As they were commenting on Matt and Alexis, they looked like they were saying it, just to say something and didn't really mean it. As for the results, I am not upset that Jorge and Jasmine left, but if I picked, it would probably be Scott and Anoop.. although I do love Anoop and I'm kinda glad he stayed, so I hope he shows up more. I just don't see how anyone can say that he doesn't have a good voice though! lol. Have you listened to him when he is singing softer? He starts about the 1:30 mark here. |
