I really like Kara! My mom thought the same thing about the bikini bitch being just like Megan from Rock of Love! I bet she doesn't last long. They had a few good ones, but nobody 'wowed' me. That one guy that was feeling sick and so nervous the whole day was hilarious! The guy with the really deep voice looked like it hurt him to talk and sing. His singing made me think of the guy last season that sang 'Let My People Go'. |

That's it! That's the guy I'm thinking of! I thought they were the same guy, but apparently not, LoL. I felt so bad for the guy with the panic attack/health issues! His singing was absolutely wretched, but I really felt for him. The poor guy's heart must've been beating out of his chest. |

My only hope is that during Hollywood week she gets raked across the coals when she actually has clothes on. Then we get the behind the scenes moment where she is crying her eyes out. Pretty clear Simon was passing her through because it was totally pissing Paula and Kara off. There have been a ton of times where Randy/Paula passed someone through that he couldn't stand. I knew she reminded me of someone...Exactly Megan from Rock of Love. |

"A.I." Contestant Ordered to SCRAM Posted Image Posted Jan 15th 2009 4:00AM by TMZ Staff If "American Idol" wannabe Emily Wynne-Hughes manages to stick around for a while, you might get to see the first contestant perform with an alcohol monitoring bracelet! Turns out Emily -- the same tattooed chick who can't seem to keep her pants on -- is smack in the middle of a DUI fiasco, and she has been ordered to wear a SCRAM bracelet. The whole thing is over an arrest back in July, where cops busted her for allegedly driving drunk in West Hollywood. Emily copped a plea to a lesser charge of reckless driving. In addition to the bracelet, Emily was placed on 3 years probation. We've learned there may be another hearing and the judge could back down on the SCRAM bracelet -- but for now the order stands. Last night's episode was good, but we're getting way too many sob stories. There was the girl who lost everything in the tornado and the guy whose wife had just died, then the night before night we had the blind guy and the girl who made it to Hollywood just by begging and crying for it, LoL. It's annoying! |

I agree with Kenny with all of the sob stories. I thought they were going to be saving a lot of that stuff for Hollywood weeks. Save all of those stories for the top 36 or Hollywood to help us get to learn about them. Although the previews for next week I am pretty sure I saw this girl walking out pissed again. Oh I hope she went back. One of my favorite worst Idol auditions. Edited by cubsgirl, Jan 15 2009, 06:17 AM.

Eww, I thought I saw that girl in the previews! LoL Gag me. She was so weird. Uncomfortably weird! Hollywood Week(s) looks awesome with all the drama and craziness. |

I will never understand why they let the black guy with the braids through to Hollywood. The one who sang Chris Brown. He was terrible. I don't see the purpose of the new judge either. If anything, they should have fired a couple of the old judges and replaced them. Edited by six, Jan 15 2009, 09:17 AM.

My only issue with having a 4th judge is the time constraints during the live performance episodes. Those episodes are jam packed already, and having a 4th judge to critique will only take up more time. Aside from that, I love Kara! |

I loved the guy whose wife just died ... aww, I'm totally going to cry every time I see him, now. LOL. Yes, I am a sap for the sob stories. But he was GOOD, too! Not many really stood out to me yet, though. |

The guy whose wife died is probably my favorite so far. He was AMAZING! Girls are not so good, IMO. The last one from Kansas was great. Others were pretty forgettable. I love Kara :) Edited by Manny, Jan 15 2009, 06:06 PM.

Von Smith? Yep! He sang a very LOUD version of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow." Very, very loud. LoL. He sounded very good once he lowered the tone of his voice though. Lil Rounds and the guy whose wife died were the best last night. Lil Rounds was described as "a mix of Fantasia and Mary J. Blige" and she seemed incredibly sweet. She lost everything in a tornado. The other guy (the one whose wife had just died) sounded very soulful. |

I'm tired of the auditions already, too. Just get on to Hollywood week. So far though I really like Lil and Jessica (I think the last girl) and a couple of the guys especially the one who recently lost his wife. |

I LOVE KARA! Next to Simon, she is my favorite judge. I don't watch auditions so I am probably done, But I just watched Tuesday's and wanted to comment on Kara. LOL. I loved that tattooed, orange haired girl, Emily, was it? She is my Carly Smithson of this season. |
