Not surprisingly, it looks like Adam Lambert gets the pimp spot tonight. (Edit: Nevermind! I forgot about Kris Allen!) He's going to butcher "Play That Funky Music." I can just tell. BUTCHER. |

That says it all. I liked Matt's performance. I don't think it was at all as bad as his singing that Coldplay song earlier in the competition. Maybe it's because I like the song and I like The Fray. It wasn't his best but it wasn't that bad. I liked his performing amidst the audience though. That was cool. I felt bad for Matt because he looked like he may cry and I don't think he understands what the hell the judges want from him. Why do the judges keep telling these people they need to stick in one genre? They've never done that before now. I also hate how they keep comparing Matt and Lil to the same people. with Matt, it's always Justin Timberlake and with Lil it's always Mary J. They sit there and bitch about people copying other artists and about people playing it safe and shit like that but then they say shit like they just did. It makes no sense and they just confuse the contestants more. Matt was right to try to go outside his normal comfort zone. I do agree that One Republic may have been a better song but there would've been a major risk of being a copycat there. Good thing is that everytime the judges hate him, the people like him LOL. Lil wasn't bad but that song was too big for her IMO. It didn't suit her at all. I love how they are rushing the show. Kara got cut off. Ryan got cut off. Why not just tell Paula and Kara to get to the point in their comments? Kara is just as bad as Paula tonight with her struggling to get to the point. |

Adam, your hair looks stupid. It's too long in the back to be styled like that. It almost looks like a mullet. Just cut it already. I hate his screaming. HATE. HIS. SCREAMING. PLAY THAT FUNKY MUUUUUUSICCCC! |

Did he actually sing a single word of that song? I don't think he sang one note! He screamed his way through that entire thing. SCREAMED. I can do that. Anybody can do that! Would he please show a little restraint, for the love of God?! Paula says that he's as good as Mick Jagger and Steven Tyler, LoL. Both screamers. Oh, look how cool Adam thinks he is, giving props to the band. Bahaha! Did they even let Randy Jackson give a critique? |

I find it funny that Simon Cowell of all people-- Mr. "I Hate Self Indulgence" -- didn't say a single word to Adam about how over the top and ridiculous that was. Back in Hollywood, he told Von Smith that his singing was "self-indulgent nonsense," and his vocals weren't nearly as hysterical as what we got from Adam tonight. Who are the judges trying to fool? |

I like Adam's hair and I give him credit for giving props to the band. I think that is classy and shows professionalism. I wish others would do that. It would make Danny, in particular, look much better if he did. I remember David Cook did that all the time. It was ok. A little corny though with the dancing and all. I usually don't like when he screams and screeches but I think it worked for this performance. It gave it a different sound and it fit with the party feel of the song. I think it's ok to do stuff like that if it suits the song and works within the song. He showed a little restrain as the song started and then went into it so it wasn't as drastic a shift as his previous performances where he just screamed and was just horrible. He wasn't too bad though. I liked him better last week and I'm still not ready to actually like him and get on the bandwagon but not really bad IMO. |

I don't think Simon is being as biased with Adam as the others are. He has bashed him before and he really didn't say he was good. He kind of just said what he did was risky and that it was great he had fun and left it at that. The performance itself had an indulgent feel to it but I think it's just the way Adam performs. The good thing is that he doesn't act like that after the performance like Danny does, at least not to me. |

Kris Allen looks incredibly sexy in these tight jeans! Love the vocals. Very pretty, clear, crisp vocals. The arrangement is pretty as well. Very pleasant. Not the most amazing performance ever, but definitely enjoyable. Best of the night, IMO! |

Watching this little clip of Megan's back, I think a big problem of hers is that she has shifty eyes. It always looks like she's reading some sort of tele-prompter while she sings, LoL. Overall, Kris was the best of the night. Scott was the most boring of the night. I'm crossing my fingers that he'll go home tomorrow! |

Watching on delay so I am just reading all of your guys thoughts. Have a feeling not going to like Adam...but we will see. Anoop-The boy doesn't have soul to be an R&B singer. Megan-I am just done with her. Had to laugh at the comment about her fans voting for her. Does she not realize Vote for the Worse are the ones keeping her in the competition. Danny-Boring and just irritating me as usual. And just admit you couldn't sell the song last week. So what it wasn't your first choice. There are lots of artists that have to record songs they don't care for, but they have to sell it. Allison-Okay. Nothing great nothing bad. So is Paula going to tell everyone that they are going to be the ones at the top so that she will be right because she tells everyone it. The audience shots is like playing Where's Waldo with celebs. Saw Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamilton. But then David Spade is right behind Randy. |

I liked Kris. He was original and Kara is right. That is being a creative artist. He took an old song and made it current. Very much like David Cook. Good arrangement and good song choice. He also did look more confident so he took Simon's advice to heart. He's grown on me and he's showing more personality, which is good. I like how Ryan alluded to Kara's little numbers mistake last week when she counted the amount of words she was going to use wrong. That was pretty funny. I think Anoop, Megan, and Scott are in danger but I can see Matt being in trouble given he was in the bottom last week so I think these 4 are the most vulnerable. I think Megan will probably go this week though. She went second and people that go early in the show always end up in danger it seems, even if they are good. |

The thing with Kris is that he probably had the biggest hurdle of any of the contestants because they didn't focus on him during the auditions or Hollywood week. So he's been a bit of a revelation for me. |

WTF?!?! My local Fox affiliate has pulled the Osbournes variety show because "portions of the program were not suitable for the millions of teenagers still watching this time slot." So stupid! Go to bed, brats! |
