I just... I don't know... They don't show half of the people that make it to Hollywood. And that annoys me.
Me too.

They spend way too much time focusing on stupid things and unfunny bad auditions.

Oh, and there's no Top 24 this year. It's Top 36.

They'll whittle it down to Top 12 from there. :)

Yeah. And I really like bad auditions too. But I just would rather see more people that go into the next round.

Oh, right! I read that somewhere. But thanks for reminding me, Kenneth! ;)

Rick, are you sure Idol is on Thursday night?

I didn't even catch this, because I just watched Tuesday and I will watch Wednesday tomorrow, so saying "tonight and tomorrow" was totally normal for me!

Yep, it's definitely on tomorrow night as well. I just checked the listings.

Final night of auditions though. Thank God in heaven.

Okay, I'm angry!

Justin Williams auditioned in one of the cities that were shown last week, but they never showed his actual audition on the episode. He made it to Hollywood and I think he's just amazing, but they cut his part out. :(

I watched this video of him singing Josh Groban's "February Song" about a year ago on YouTube and I remembered thinking, "Wow... he would do really well on Idol." Not to mention that he's completely gorgeous. I'm glad he made it past the judges!

Anyway, they didn't show his audition (much like they didn't show Jason Castro's last season) but look for him in Hollywood. I hope he goes far.

I wonder if maybe during the Hollywood week they are going to show some of those original auditions hence part of the reason they are making Hollywood 2 weeks. I really hope they do something because from the people going on, I haven't seen anyone that is getting me really excited.

I'm really curious to find out exactly what's going to happen when the Top 12 are revealed. One of the show's producers recently explained that they have a huge, "controversial" surprise up their sleeves that they're going to spring on the contestants one they reach Top 12. He said the surprise will have everyone talking at the water cooler, etc.

I'm thinking that maybe on results night, the judges will decide who goes home between the bottom two. Maybe? Or maybe a different person will somehow be given immunity each week. I dunno...

I'd like to know how they are going to fit 18 performances into one show? Because didn'tthey say the Top 36 will be performing for the audiences votes?

I think they're having them perform in three groups of twelve.

Then each group of twelve will be whittled down to three. That makes 9 finalists. Then the judges choose the final three to round out the Top 12 during the Wild Card episode.

Yeah I think they are going back to the way it was the first couple of seasons.

I like your idea Kenny that the maybe the judges actually decides who goes home between the bottom two. Although it would get rid of the time every season where there is the "shocking" elmination. But I say give that up to get rid of people that get through week after week when better singers are sent home.

David Osmond is HOT!!! Good singer too. I thought it was supposed to be Donny's son that tried out, but I guess it is his brother's son.

I actually hate the idea of the judges deciding who goes home out of the bottom two. They're way too biased and I just know I'd end up disappointed with almost all of the eliminations, LoL.

Isn't he though? Completely adorable! He's not a bad singer, either.
