I have to say I think the bottom really could have been any of the 5, but I thought Adam would have been in the top. Wonder if we have a Daughtry moment going. |

That should be a wake-up to Adam that he has to tone down the theatrics! |

:flipoff: America for Kris being in the bottom three! :omg: @ Adam being in the bottom 3 although he probably got the most votes out of the 3 and that's why they are still doing 3 instead of 2 so they can scare his fans enough to vote even more for him. Ryan's an ass for asking Adam that question though, Adam should have sat down in the middle and not given Ryan the pleasure of getting an answer..... |

That video of the cake making and food fight was HILARIOUS!! Danny showed more personality in that then he has all year! Alison is awesome! I was cheering her on in the food fight. I just knew Ryan was going to pull this two group of two, one person pick the group thing. That has not happened all year yet but I have to give them props for pulling a surprise and putting Adam on the other side. I figured they would say Adam was safe and have him pick the group but I did notice when Ryan did not say to Adam you are safe so I wondered what was going on and Adam was in the bottom 3. My jaw dropped! Alison went from bottom two to top two! Awesome! This is why I've been saying NOTHING is a lock. Anything can happen. The show shocked me for the first time in a long time with how they did it tonight with Ryan tricking Adam and the audience like that. I can't believe Adam was honestly about to choose a group though. Everyone knows you just stand or sit in the middle to avoid any bad feelings. I love the judges' reactions too. Like Paula said, someone has to go and they all are talented so things like this can happen, especially with the public deciding. I was glad Simon said that nothing should be taken away from Danny or Alison either because it's unfair to do that. Good people are going to end up in the bottom from now on. We're close to the end, for God's sake! |

Yeah I didn't like Adam actually answered the question and chose a group. They do it every year. Just need to do what David A did last year and sit in the middle of the stage and don't move(although it wasn't really funny until David Cook and Jason Castro moved over and just sat next to him like they were all in kindergarten). I don't know about Adam being the higher vote getter of the three. The only ones that were cheered for were Kris and Adam. I have been seeing others not so positive on Adam's performance. There is still that conservative part of America that might actually be turned off by Adam and we might not be seeing the true effect of it until now with have 5 strong contenders. I also don't know if AI is dying for Adam to win. I don't know if he is necessarily that marketable as the others. It is making things very interesting. |

I'm shocked Ryan has not pulled that shit yet this year because he always does. They finally did tonight. I was worried about Adam because he honestly seemed to be considering picking a side. Anyone who has watched knows the right thing to do is to stand in the middle. That's it. . They will always do it as it's part of the show and that is the right way to handle it. Ryan said Adam is in the bottom 3 and Dialidol had Adam placed at second so it's plausible he could be lower with margin of error. I do think he was too much last night and the last time he did something that over the top was with the Johnny Cash song and he seemed to lose momentum. Maybe he will learn that he has to tone it down next week, if he makes it Natalie Cole was great and she looks great. The way Adam and Kris are talking backstage leads me to believe all the rumors of tension with them is BS. They seemed fine talking backstage. Alison and Danny do seem to get along quite well. I still don't like him but he comes off likable around Alison. Maybe it's because of the food fight stuff earlier and her kicking his ass in it LOL. I did like how they gave him the bill for the maids having to clean up the mess because the whole fight was pinned on him by Alison LOL. Awesome!! I'm dreading Taylor Hicks' performance. |

Adam does always come off as a bit of shocked that the judges have loved all of his performances. But it always didn't seem genuine to me. His comment about "based on last night...". Pretty clear he thought he was safe and that Allison and Danny were also safe. Think someone has a bit of an ego that he has been able to hide very well. Also liked Simon's comment to not take away from Danny and Allison. Like I said, realistically any of them could have been the bottom 3 simply because they all did a nice job last night. |

I loved that. They kind of bailed him out because you could tell he was embarrassed being put on the spot like that but they came over and helped him out. One of the best moments of last season! Adam is certainly marketable but I have to wonder if maybe people are sick of the pimping. Maybe Simon's interview hurt since he pretty much said he felt Danny and Adam were destined for the final. I get the feeling tonight maybe the judges and show feel they need to lay off the pimping and promote a more wide open show. Hope I'm right. Taylor sucked. I can't believe he was trying to be a rock star with the guitar LOL. I can see why Broadway wants him. He's an entertainer, pure and simple I can't believe the judges gave him a standing ovation. What was that, sympathy? They didn't even give Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clakrson standing ovations this year when they returned. I love how shocked Taylor was by Simon standing and then Simon smirked and sat down, almost like he was embarrassed he got caught standing for him. Taylor did lose weight and he does look a bit better. I laughed when he acted like he was so happy to be back at Idol. He couldn't distance himself any further after he won. He clearly thought he was too good for it. I guess your record label dropping you and your album bombing humbles you. I wonder how his second album is doing. Must be doing better since he is touring and all. I guess maybe Broadway helped promote him well. All I could think of while Taylor was performing was that Danny should go out and join him LOL. Glad Kris is safe and I liked the way they've spread out the results tonight. The show is running pretty early and the opening montage said the word "shock" and so did Ryan earlier and they seem to really be driving the point home how all 5 are talented and it's anyone's title. I have a feeling Adam is about to get the Daughtry treatment but I could be wrong about that. That performance was night was just too much and when you add in all the pimping by the show in the past and last night...maybe people just had enough or people felt he was safe. I love how the show came back on and Kara and Simon raced in and back to their seats LOL. Ryan's little quip about them being kids in a parking lot was pretty amusing  . |

I am so happy Kris is safe. I am so voting my butt off for him until the end. He is dark horse and I would just love to see the dark horse win. This is the first time where there could be a "shocking" elimination and I am actually anxious to see it. Whether Adam stays or goes, I haven't been on the edge of my seat since the finale last season. |

Maybe your right but I think Kris has a bit of an ego too. I don't mind it except when it's always showing like it does with Danny. So, Danny is now the only one never in the bottom 3. Ugh. Jaime sucked LOL but he was a good mentor and I like what he said about not knowing what to expect and how the contestants impressed them. I like that they all want to be artists and not just singers and that is very good to here. I don't think Simon will like Jaime saying that all that matters is what happens after Idol, not what happens now but whatever. I love how Jaime just had to plus "The Soloist" too. I'm shocked it took him that long. I still think that is why he did this in the first place. The movie is not doing well and it needed some help so he agreed to do this. I don't he would've otherwise but, regardless, he did a good job with the contestants and I appreciated his words tonight. His performance sucked and he still needs to keep his mouth shut at times but I will give credit where it's due. He was a great mentor that helped the contestants alot. They have alot of time left and that usually means a shock because they have to allow time for the reactions and a big sendoff. I really think Adam is about to go home. :huh1: |

Oh well. I was hoping for a bit of a Daughtry moment just for the shock value. But Matt was probably the weakest of the five last night. LOL at Simon shrugging off the shot about not being on his game. We all know what Simon was up to last night. |
