Meet the New 'Celebrity Apprentice' Crop Joan and Melissa Rivers, Clint Black among the contestants January 8, 2009 NBC has announced the new contestants for "The Celebrity Apprentice," and they include a top-selling country singer, a former NBA rebounding king, a Kardashian and a "Deal or No Deal" model. The 16 contestants-slash-entrepreneurs will go at one another starting Sunday, March 1. The show will run for two hours every single week, meaning you'll get all you can stand of the likes of Clint Black, Dennis Rodman, Khloe Kardashian and Claudia Jordan, the aforementioned "Deal" briefcase holder. Andrew Dice Clay, Joan and Melissa Rivers and Brian McKnight are also among the competitors. Donald Trump will, of course, be back to sit in board-room judgment of the contestants, along with his kids Ivanka and Donald Jr. and familiar "Apprentice" face George Ross. The new season will also feature a roster of guest judges from the business world. Trump, you'll be glad to know, has not lost his skills as a hype man. "Last season's 'Celebrity Apprentice' became one of the hottest shows on television" -- as hot as any show that finished 46th in the overall ratings can be -- "and this season will be even better," he says. "We have an amazing cast of celebrities, and we are looking forward to some fantastic entertainment." As was the case last season, the contestants will be playing for their favorite charities.
