Oh, disappointment - from your title I thought you interviewed her or something!

(Nelson I hate to ask this but... did you say you had some news for us today, lol? I think some people here are curious!)

Nothing to report yet. I think they're waiting to see if the ratings drop after H&H leave. So everyone STOP watching; LOL!

Dee is right about daytime.

I can't believe how close AMC was to being canceled.

I really think GL, ATWT, DAYS, OLTL, AMC will all be gone by 2012.

I agree. 2012 at the latest. I bet as soon as one is canceled, the rest will follow suit very quickly.

Nelson, your link to Deidre's video chat goes to daytime confidential?

And yes, I will stop watching after the 23rd. Then again, I don't really watch much now but after that, there won't be any reason to tune in at all

The AMC stuff is interesting!

I told this to someone the other day and they were in disbelief, but I wouldn't be surprised if ABC/Disney tried to steal Y&R from CBS(aren't they up in 2010?). Despite the fact that a move like that might kill Y&R's ratings, the show is the number one same-day show on SOAPnet, #1 in the households, and has consistently been #1 in 18-49 for the past year(depending on GH and their wartime sweeps stunts). If Bloom is still at CBS Daytime and tries to lowball Y&R during their next negotation cycle, I see Frons biting the Creative Control bullet and doing everything he can to get daytime's #1 soap on his lineup. I could see ABC's O&O's totally going for it, even giving up the half-hour to air Y&R at it's CBS time and pimping the hell out of its arrival. The bridge between the Y&R and OLTL could be a half-hour AMC.

If a Y&R move is successful, it could also perk up the numbers for the rest of the network.

A successful Y&R on ABC move could be a fun industry shakeup. Y&R is very much a hit with ABC soap fans in the Midwest, because in some markets, it airs at 12EST, before the ABC block.

But of course, I'm just speculating. :D It's fun to do that.

Aw, Nelson. I was looking forward to your scoop on Friday!
Great article, but I can't stand your "blind items"...if you aren't going to answer them. Just gossip fuel and nobody ever figures it out. Sometimes I think you are making them up to get us all fired up. LOL!

Thanks for sharing!

I'm wagering on something LML/Y&R related.

This has gotta be PGP/TeleNext related. LOL. Maura West, maybe? Crystal Chappell?

They're not that hard to figure out — and a lot of people do. Mostly industry people.

LOL. I sometimes suck at these things, but I'm damn sure I got the East Coast starlet one right last week.

And the gay one could be just about any soap on daytime. Except GL. Gay wrestlers and lesbians don't exist in Springfield. And P.S., where is that big DAYS firing scoop? I want more drama at DAYS!
