^Will is always good IMO but the movie sucked, just like "I am Legend" LOL. Having said that, as good as he was in 7 LBS, it was nowhere near Oscar-worthy. |

It definitely did not suck. You're crazy! :) Definitely one of the better movies of 2008. Edited by King, Jan 22 2009, 08:18 PM.

Haha. I might agree it wasn't Oscar worthy, but I loved it. They are saying Winslet is the youngest actress ever to be nominated for six oscars in her career. Big doings about Leo and Clint being snubbed. |

I have to disagree with you both. I saw Slumdog last night and thought it was FANTASTIC- definitely worthy of all the accolades and Oscar buzz it's generating. |

Well it's not often that we disagree King- shall we just enjoy this moment? Next up for me to see: Benjamin Button, Milk, and Doubt. I LOVE Oscar season- it's the only time during the year that my type of movie plays in theaters in abundance. Edited by juniorz1, Jan 23 2009, 01:01 PM.

My thoughts: LOL. Button was good, but long. It was a lot like Forest Gump so get ready for that. I liked it overall. Milk was choppy and weird and overrated, like Slumdog, IMO. Doubt, I haven't seen, but I'm dying to! |
