On Saturday, January 17, James Reynolds (Abe) was presented with Living the Dream Inc.'s highest honor, the Lifetime Achievement Award in downtown Topeka, Kansas, according to The Topeka Capital-Journal.
Reynolds, along with his wife Lissa Layng Reynolds, were among the nearly 500 people who were present for the Living the Dream Inc.'s annual banquet to celebrate the community's youth, to honor those who have contributed to the betterment of Topeka, and to honor the late civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. James and Lissa stopped by his home state to receive the award before they headed to Washington D.C. for the Presidential Inauguration.

Living the Dream, Inc. was founded in 1985 by Robert Bugg, who called together a group of people from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds to honor the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The mission of Living the Dream, Inc. is to enhance Dr. King's philosophy of nonviolence, to recognize and teach human understanding, and to promote academic excellence. The organization recognizes individuals, corporations, and organizations for their outstanding contributions to the Topeka and Shawnee County community in Kansas.

Heartfelt congratulations go out to James Reynolds on this honorable award!
