Just out of curiosity, who got eliminated from BB9 first? I'm not going to waste my time watching the rest of the season, but after investing in the first episode, I'm just curious, LoL.
Jacob and Sharon were the first couple to get eliminated, but Josh's partner (Neil) ended up having to leave due to a family emergency, so Sharon came back a few weeks later to take his place. She ended up being paired with Josh.

After that, Parker and Jen were eliminated. After that was Alex and Amanda. After that was Ryan and Allison, but that was the week they split the couples up and only Allison went home.

Another twist came later in the game where James (the pink mohawk guy) was evicted, but the houseguests were given the choice to bring back either James or an earlier evicted houseguest, and like idiots they voted James back in. Stupidest twist EVER!

Oh, and both Allison/Amanda were rushed to the hospital because they almost died, LoL. Allison had an allergic reaction to something in the slop and her face got all swollen and her throat closed up, and Amanda collapsed into a seizure. That was crazy!

LoL, it so was.

I just went back to re-read the BB9 Live Feeds thread and this is what I wrote when the collapse happened:
Quote:

OMFG!

Amanda is having a seizure or something!!!!!

OMG OMG.

Amanda and Natalie were walking and Amanda just flat out collapsed to the floor. Now she's shaking around, gasping for breath and having what I think is a seizure.

This is crazy!! That was fucking scary!!

Do you think it is possible to have HGs that are all mostly likalbe... like a house full of Dans, Angies, Stevens and other ones we don't hate? Or is it just doomed to create truly vile bitches?

Well, a house full of goody-goodies would bore me. You need to have a few vile bitches to balance it all out, LoL.

I just hope a majority are game-players and don't create us versus them mentalities, where they are the "good" people. I always end up hating those types.

After all... tomorrow is another day!

I think that us vs. them and "good" vs. "evil" crap is a product of the environment and knowing they are being watched and trying to imagine they are the person that the people at home are rooting for more than anything so I don't know if it's even possible to cast people knowing they won't be sanctimonious before they are in that pressure cooker environment.

The one thing I don't want this season is the mob mentality in the first two weeks. Every year, it seems like all the houseguests are bullied into voting the same way for fear of being the "odd man out" and we end up getting a bunch of unanimous votes as a result. Thank God it stops happening after the first two weeks when different alliances form, but still, the mob mentality is always frustrating early in the season. It was especially bad on BB10.

Mhmm.

I still chuckle everytime I think of April believing the viewers just LOVED her last season, and then the minute she got out of the house, she was bombarded with question after question about how it feels to be hated by America and how it feels to be the biggest whore in Big Brother history, etc.

Yeah. I despise the mob mentality.

BB10 was horrible the first three weeks where Brian, Steven and Angie were all evicted and ganged up on. It's amazing how different the season is after the first few weeks. Total 180.

I thought BB9 went downhill after Amanda left. She was feeds gold.

The only sane person that season was Sharon. It was so frustrating watching her play the game though.

Same here! I was seriously on the verge of a heart attack if Jerry had won.

Ugh. I forgot that they cut out Ollie calling Memphis a faggot and dubbed in "red headed Cabbage Patch kid" instead.

BB10: UK starts in a week.

It's always interesting to see what happens on the international versions because they're all so different. I watched a bit of the feeds for BB: Australia last year and it was very different. For example, they're not allowed to talk about nominations. There's no "gameplay" allowed. The houseguests vote on who to nominate, but the public votes on who to evict. If the houseguests are caught breaking a rule, they're punished. I recall once when they sent a houseguest to solitary confinement and made her count hundreds of pins and they wouldn't let her out until she got the count right, LoL. That was her punishment. There was another guy who was forced to live in the backyard van all summer. I wish our BB did stuff like that! Oh, and their kitchen table had a big conveyor belt on it where the producers would randomly send out food items and the houseguests had to catch it before it hit the floor or they went hungry. Oh, and their evictions were very flashy with huge crowds of people holding signs. Very American Idol-esque.

That's exactly how our BB was.

But outside of those HUGE live eviction shows, which were an all night event here (starting at 8pm and running sometimes till 11pm), I don't miss anything else. Without gameplay, it's sooooo boring.
