I actually don't like the BBUK house. It almost seems too...glamorous? I like the small, confined, almost claustraphobic feeling of the U.S. BB house.

BBUK premiered tonight with 16 houseguests and the show will run for 3 1/2 months. I love their house!

Actually, I think the BBUK house is very bare bones compared to previous seasons. They don't even have furniture, and there's only one room of the house they're allowed in -- for now. I think the pictures make it look bigger than it is.

All the houseguests are asleep on the feeds right now. :(

I wouldnt call the house luxurious. Its still a no-privacy area. While big, its mostly open concept. And they do much more to fuck with their housemates. I know last year they had to earn hot water, and i dont think they even got a kitchen last year.

Oh I love this! 16 people enter the house for the night, none of them are actually housemates! They have to somehow earn their housemate status.

Oh, their BB voice is soooo awesome. "Karly, do you think you're a stuck up bitch?"

Oh .... Sophia ..... worst laugh ever, yet strangly lovable.

That's awesome! I wish they tortured the HGs more like that in the U.S.

This year the housemates that havent yet been granted housemate status are sleeping on the floor in a single room surrounded only by crates.

Big Brother Network

"CBS has revealed to us that Big Brother 11 will feature 12 houseguests! There had been a lot of speculation after Julie Chen informally announced there would be 10 houseguests. Thankfully that turned out to not be true or we’d lose a few precious weeks of BB11 fun.

Tipster Heather also learned that Big Brother will announce the 12 houseguests in the first week of July, much as we’d expect but always good to have it confirmed by CBS. Less than 4 weeks until we know!"

---------------------------------------------

With 12 houseguests, I hope they do an inviction or bring an evicted houseguest back, a la Amy Crews, BB6's Kaysar and BB9's James.

Live. Love. Laugh. ♥

With only twelve houseguests, they sure as hell better have an inviction and no double evictions

Last year's double eviction was amazing. First Michelle out the door, then Ollie - all in one night. Ahhhh....

I hate when they do the whole week in one hour. I liked it better when they spread some of the action to the friday/sunday show.

I'm liking BBUK so far. I dont know alot of these peoples names yet, so I'm just going to refer to them based on their "role"

I like the gay dude, the russian fitness woman, the short black girl with the crazy laugh. I also like Chairon, or however he's spelled. And I cannot stand the flamboyant italian dude, or the Iranian club promoter with the hair.

Alright, guys. Take this with a HUGE grain of salt. From a poster at Jokers:
Quote:

I live in the LA area and my brother works for security on the BB lot. I decided I'd venture into the lot and see if I could get any info from the construction workers, etc.

I met this one guy and I told him I worked as an intern for CBS. He did not believe me, but his friend walked by as I was leaving and sarcastically said "who's idea was it to build a second %#@^ing house this year?". I said "WAIT A SECOND HOUSE!?" and the guy goes "Yeah. An exact freaking replica".

Interested, I walked around the lot and asked everyone I could about the new season. I talked with a woman who claimed to be close to the show. She explained that this year, there are apparently two houses with 12 people in each. They both think they're in the original (and only) house. The idea is that it's a battle of the houses. Each week, one person from each house is evicted. And at the end, America decides which of the two winners (one winner in each house) gets to keep the money.
I sincerely doubt that this is true. No way would so many people be that loose-lipped on the CBS lot. Plus, Big Brother doesn't have a big enough budget to build an exact replica of the entire house, including cameras, microphones, appliances, a control room, etc. on a whole new stage. They would essentially be doubling their budget and having to pay twice the stipend.

Anyway, I don't see this happening at all, but I figured I'd pass it along anyway.

^ That would be so hella confusing. 12 is too little but 24 is too much.
