Scratch that guess above. The killer is the little girl. Between the bloody finger trick and burning that snail with the magnifying glass, she's a creepy little brat.

I thought it was OK, not great. Not horrible. The little girl's annoying and obviously a red herring. And I couldnt get past was the horrible soundtrack! Moody and atmospheric is what's called for, not something from Brothers and Sisters.

^I'd say it's also trying to be a CW drama too with the soundtrack.

Yes but the difference Matt is that Point Pleasant was a quality show.

#1 Fan of Daytime Psychos!

I liked something that everyone here hates. Yep, that sounds about right. lol.

I loved the show, actually. I loved "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and the "Scream" movies and that's basically what this show is. I'm excited to see how it plays out!

It wasn't bad. I will watch it again.
Our cable went out and the last thing we saw was the trampy blonde running out of the water. Gotta find that last little bit of it.

For the time being I am going to continue to watch. Wasn't great, but wasn't horrible. Problem is that there are alot of characters to try and keep track of.

I thought it was okay. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be based on most of the reviews here.

The acting and writing aren't the best, but since it's only 12 episodes, I can tolerate it. It reminded me a lot of I Still Know What You Did Last Summer - a movie that I LOVE. I'm going to keep watching.

I have a feeling that this is going to be one of those series that sneaks up on you when you least expect it. Everyone's going to watch it out of curiosity or becuase there's nothing else on and by episode 6 or 7, everyone will find themselves into it and trying to figure out who's going to die, who's the killer, and how the hell they got so hooked on a show they didn't like or care about. lol

The scheduling for this is actually pretty good. CBS thought it could sneak HI on after ER left the air... I don't think they counted on Southland doing so well over at NBC.

As for HI? It's not bad. Not Lost by any means or Heroes, but it is what it is... it's based on the slasher movies of the 1980s. It's from the production company that did Jericho, too, which is surprising.

I'll stick with it and see what happens. No, the killer isn't the little girl, that's too obvious.

I think it would have worked better if the island was deserted except for the wedding party. Add to the creepy factor.

I agree.

Anyway, I'm going to watch again tonight. Hopefully this episode is better than the first. I feel like the first episode was so bad because they spent so much time trying to introduce 52,798 characters. Now that we're on Episode 2, maybe it'll get better. I hope so.

Man, this show is full of terrible acting. I can't believe that this is the best group of people they could find for a primetime show. The writing doesn't help either. It's amateurish at best.

I think tonight's episode is even worse than last week's.
