Soap Opera Digest has learned that OLTL's David is on his way to Llanview once again — and it's not just on Have-A-Seat business! In the wake of A Martinez's (ex-Ray) departure, Robin Strasser's Dorian could sure use a partner in crime (and other things?) for the summer. While ABC has yet to release a first air date, viewers can expect David to mix it up with his new family, the Buchanans, during his stay.

If Desperate Housewives is not giving him enough to do, then he should probably just come back to OLTL permanently so he has a steady thing going.

I think we would have benefitted from a longer break from him, to be honest. Oh I TOTALLY agree. I love David and Tuc...and I know that this is probably just because Tuc doesn't want to stay long term....but I've grown a bit tired of it myself. I was alright with it up until the Buchanan paternity stuff was resolved...after his and Dorian's marriage ended, and all the Buchanan stuff was tied up, I feel like that should have ended the constant comings and goings of David. They really should have kept Ray.

STAY or GO for god's sake.It hampers the writers with storyline when you won't stay on the show for more than a half dozen eppys at a time.

But if he has to do this whole coming-and-going thing, I wish we could get a longer break in between his stints, so that when he does come back, it'll be more exciting. Yes, indeed....thats why I didn't mind him coming back in Janurary...because we hadn't seen him since early August. And then before, it was a nice break in between November and May...but this year, he left in Feburary, came back in April, left, and now is back again.
