Oh ok. I remember him shooting EJ, but I got out of watching it daily shortly after that. Guess I wasn't that into watching another triangle story. Plus I was still upset that Lumi finally got married, and it was "forced" apart with Sami "forced" into marrying EJ based on some old letters and lives of people she never met.

At that time, in order to be on board fully with Ejami, I would have rather seen her fall for him on her own, rather than being pushed.

I do think I'm leaning that way.........I guess part of me is SOOO over the break up make up crap of Lumi.....and I guess how Lucas does get a little "pot calling kettle" with Sami, like he never schemed a day in his life.....

Ok, so I'm an Ejami fan......mostly

So long as they do something about that god awful hairdo. I think that's his "evil" look. The more he slid into the role of DiMera, the longer and greasier it got. Like it is an outward statement of the ugly going on inside.

Give the EJ do from when Sami was torn between Lucas and EJ, and Lucas caught Sami in bed with EJ. That was a good look.

BTW like I said, I just got back into watching it on a daily basis. I was sporadic for quite some time. Why was Lucas in prison?
Welcome to the board! Love your posts! :) It's not easy being an EJami fan...but dang it, most of us just can't help ourselves. ;)

For the record, I totally agree with you on EJ's hair.

I liked Lumi at one point too. Was never a big fan, but would watch them and not FF when they were on.

After the almost wedding where Kate drugged Sami, put her in bed with Brandon and then Lucas refused to believe her afterwards when he knew that Kate was capable of manipulating that situation...I could never watch them again. If you can't believe in your fiancee, the woman you are supposed to love so much, the NIGHT before you marry her for Christ's sake...you just are not meant to be.

He always chooses his mother over the women that he loves and that is wrong on so many levels.

I can't help but think Lucas got what he deserved.

I have heard that DAYS is making James keep that awful hairdo to make him look older. Which is stupid. Better to look young and hot than young with bad hair. Are we dumb? Are we all thinking that Ari and Ali look way to old to be with him? Uh no. We all want him to get his hair cut.

I think those who are wondering if Rafe will hook up with Nicole are just fans of Sami with another male trying to get her away from Rafe...But I keep saying that Rafe has no money and luxorius lifestyle...Philip has and Brady has - those are the only two men really in the running for Nicole's 'affections' if things don't work out with EJ. IMO
You can think whatever you want, but just because someone comments on a couple of opposite-sex characters sharing a lot of scenes together and wondering if the writers have something more in store doesn't mean there is some other agenda at work. It just means we're commenting on the show. As much as I can't stand Nicole right now I still don't think I'd want to punish her with a relationship with boring ass Rafe.

I am a Safe fan because I am a Sami fan. Never heard of Galen before the rumour started that he was seen on the Days lot. Sami needs the love of a good man and some tough yet tender treatment. To date Rafe has been giving that to her, she is dysfunctional and is used to being abused and hurt hence her going to EJ to get verbally beat up. I think this should been seen as Sami behaving like a drug addict [we know the drug is bad] needing a fix - and of course EJ didn't dissapoint.

So are you claiming that people who are fans of other pairings for Sami are not Sami fans? :eyeroll:

Sami needs a lot of things, but before this whole thing with Grace unfolded what she needed was definitely not something Rafe was able to give her. What she needed was a big dose of reality and swift kick in the head so she could understand what she was doing keeping EJ's kid a secret from him and letting another man adopt her was not only wrong, but inevitably going to fail. She needed a truthteller like Will was to her, but after that talk with him when Will finally seemed to knock some sense into her instead of backing up that positive advice Rafe encouraged and enabled her delusion that they could play house with another man's child in a bizarre and frankly weird manner where this boyfriend of about a week Salem time was ready to make a lifelong commitment to Sami's daughter yet totally unwilling to make a commitment to her and totally unwilling to accept the commonsense objections and concerns about the adoption of people like Will, Caroline, Roman, Arianna, etc...

I am glad that not only is EJ reading her the riot act for what she's done, but also Will is not going to put up with what Sami has needlessly put him through in denying him the knowledge that he had (has) another biological sister out there and lying to another man about another one of her pregnancy's after doing the same thing with Will has caused his life so much chaos over the years. It was straight up cruel what Sami did manipulating Will into feeling guilty for even questioning her when he started prodding her if there was more than met the eye to Grace's adoption.

I disliked Ejami up until today because of the rape - now after today's and what will be tomorrows scenes I just think they are way too and dysfunctional and need to be keep apart in any romantic way. yuck. When he serves the papers on her at the furneral I would like to say it is putting another nail in the ejami coffin but I think the coffin is going down into the ground this week. This is just my opionion but I think that James and Ali may secretly hate the ejami story and both want to move away from it. I'm sure James must be annoyed because he can never move on from being a 'rapist' if he is in a relationship with his 'victim' [and I can't believe James likes that] At least with Nicole he's just a villian. And despite the re-write Ali knows the orginal script and scenes were written as rape, she probably thinks no stinking way would she be in a permanent relationship with a perpretrator. [there have been enough articles were she talks about the 'most difficult and devisive' storyline in all her years on the show. She has two young tots and probably doesn't want to deal with all that drama and negative energy from disgruntled fans that comes her way from her character setting up home with her sex offender. So I expect these scenes are going to be really brutal and cruel with a view to [James and Ali] killing ejami - this is just my opinion of course I have no insider info. Ali blogged yesterday and again talks about how she has so much fun working with Galen. And I have to be pleased for her that she is having fun at work. I think that is so important.

I can't speak with any more insight than you of the personal feelings of the actors involved in this storyline (so *I* won't even try to speculate) but as for both of the actors secretly wanting to "kill" EJami... if James was so intent to see EJami killed I kind of doubt he would have participated in a chat with EJami fans last week.

And if Ali blogs about how much fun she has working with Galen (who I understand is her friend outside of work) that's great. I don't know why anyone would assume from that though that automatically means she has a horrible time working with James (or Bryan for that matter). Ali is and always has been a champion of the show and talks it up no matter what.

I was a Lumi fan from WAY back in the day. When they were teens and scheming to break up Carrie and Austin. Always thought they'd be perfect together. Back when the hate/love was going on, and Sami was on death row for "killing" Franco, they had chemistry. But only when they "hate" eachother.

Yanno, I didn't agree with Sami at first for hiding her pregnancy from EJ. He wasn't that bad then. Sure she was shocked and Nicole being pregnant too, and then witnessing the mayor's murder......but EJ was only on the brink at that point......

But after she came back she was set to do the "right thing" until she saw the cold calculated and callous attitude he had about planning to murder Philip. There was no guilt, no shame, and altogether no remorse for what he was doing. I wouldn't want my baby to grow up knowing that someone that "evil" was their father.....I'd probably hide it too.

Course, I though the whole Rafe adopting her thing was crap from the beginning. That wasn't a well though out plan!

After she left and went into WPP, he changed for the worse. I think only Sami can bring out the goodness in him. I think this tragedy will help them both achieve redemption in each other's eyes. Then they can start again.

Some say they feel like this is the end for them. I totally disagree. I feel like this is a new beginning and eventually they will find their way back to each other.

Weekly Summary

DAYS OF OUR LIVES: When EJ told Sami that his injunction will become permanent and Sami will never see Johnny again, she asked Stephanie to testify that EJ was behind Owen keeping Stephanie captive. Stephanie was taken to the hospital after slipping and falling, where Daniel realized that she had overdosed on her anti-anxiety medication. After an unsuccessful attempt to poison Chloe, Kate edited a recorded conversation with Daniel to change what he said. Nicole began to fear that Rafe's sleuthing would make him a problem. Hope's picture ended up in the paper when she made what should have been an anonymous charitable donation, and caught the attention of a mysterious stranger.

Coming: Nathan starts to get a handle on Melanie's problems.

:iagree: Great post!

So . . . Stephanie is going to be Daniel's patient? Watch out, Steph.

LOL!

I'm mad I didn't think of that at first.
Let the groping begin!

This kind of attitude toward Daniel is getting quite tiresome and old :puke:
