As expected... she's Patty. Soaps.com is reporting that Tammy Barr will appear as "Young Patty" in a flashback had by Mary Jane on July 2nd. The actress very much resembles Lilibet Stern, the original actress who played the role. |

Hmm, it kind of surprises me that with Rauch there, they didn't get someone that resembled Andrea Evans! But ah well, this was pretty much obvious by now, with the vengance on Jack....the reaction when she saw Paul and whats his face last week.....I love Mary Jane though! I hope she sticks around! |

I love that they're doing a flashback and it makes sense for Patty to have turned into a complete dangerous nutcase with her history of mental illness and violence! |

She's Paul's sister. A long time ago, she was married to Jack, and she went crazy and shot him. |

She's the younger sister of Paul Williams! As a teen, she used a fake ID to get into a club with her friends and she spotted Jack Abbott who she dubbed "The Fox"! He was interested but held off after finding out she was underage! Eventually she became legal and Jack bowed to pressure from dad John to get married in exchange for the presidency of Jabot! Jack married Patty But was having sex with Jabot model Diane Jenkins and had been with Jill who was becoming his step-mother! Patty learned she was pregnant and encouraged by bitchy Jill, went to Jack's office to tell him the good news! Jill knew that Jack was having sex with Diane in the office because she'd bugged the premises! So she set Patty up to witness her husband cheating! They didn't notice her and on her way out, Patty tripped over a potted plant! Later Ashley found her doubled up in pain on the Abbott staircase and Patty was rushed to the hospital and miscarried! then she shot Jack and put him in a wheelchair but blocked it out of her mind! She wanted to be the perfect wife to Jack who was terrified of her! She went off the rails and had psychiatric treatment, recovered and left town after realizing that her back up beau Danny Romalotti wouldn't leave Traci Abbott, whom he'd married to give her baby by her professor a name! Patty was further distressed by the announcement that her brother paul had married enemy Lauren! That was back in '84 and we never saw Patty again except for a weird scene about 10 years ago where we saw just her back in a phone booth calling home which never came to anything! |

Yeah, I think when Mary Jane first came on the show, there was an allusion to her having had plastic surgery on her face. |

In her first scene with Victor, in his office, we didn't see anymore of "Patty Jane" as Alvin dubbed her than her hand with a glass of water! When Victor went to turn the lights up, Mary Jane said "Please don't do that! I don't look so good these days!" and Victor said " Don't worry! I'll take care of everything!" and the other day he told her he'd given her a new face! I'm not sure if Patty just had some hard living showing on her face or if she had a disfiguring accident before meeting wit Victor or what! And the fact that it's been over 25 years since Jack had sex with Patty would explain his not knowing her body! |
