Seeing where the ratings are now for GL, breaks my heart. I used to rush to watch this show in between classes. I loved that show so much.

So in a very selfish move, I know, I'm going to reminisce about the great storylines of GL.

Feel free to add on!

Remember when Holly kidnapped the town's children! Who knew she could play so crazy? It was so classically great. Soap fans know the adults never watch their kids on this show. And this storyline played perfectly.

How about the love story of Richard and Cassie (The Prince and former Stripper). It was how love is supposed to be done on soaps. Written so sweet that no one could possibly hate it!

At this will always be a classic to me: Frank "the hottie" Cooper

Oh GL! How I loved you so!

This is where Vanessa meets Billy for the first time (dressed like Scarlett O'Hara) and acting like the spoiled brat she was.LOL

I love these clips, the first one is where Billy throws Vanessa over his shoulder and punches Alan and then they get married right there at the masquerade

This is where Vanessa and Billy compete for a contract, (she for Spaulding, he for Lewis construction/oil) she dresses up like an harem woman to throw him off but the whole thing leads to a very sweet encounter which then leads to a big fight...of course.

As you can tell, I just love Billy and Vanessa :wub2:

Say what you will about Paul Rauch when the show did special events (which was a rarity later on), they did special events with the production quite flawless.

Here's New Years Eve 99 The camera direction is top notch and the set is amazing. I miss Drew and that entire set.

The other parts are of character's dreams and etc. stuff like that.

*Somehow I posted this in the wrong thread.

1985- Lujack's death. Beverlee McKinsey, Judi Evans, and Vincent Irizarry are phenomenal in this episode. Truly a touching moment, my heart breaks as Lujack calls out Beth's name.

One of the most memorable moments in GL history.
