Michael Logan, who reported in his TV Guide column, that MTS re-signed with the show on "her terms" is a respected soap columnist who has been working in the soap media for more than twenty years. His information is invariably accurate. What was reported in Soap Opera Weekly about MTS hitting an impasse with Y&R is true but Logan's information is the latest on the situation. Logan did not report that MTS continued to work without interruption. But rather that she re-signed with the show. Of course MTS will be off Y&R for a few weeks. She stopped taping a couple of weeks ago if not more and since the show tapes about a month in advance even if MTS starts taping immediately Nikki will not be seen for about a month. In his column Logan also reported that when he tried to get a comment from Paul Rauch about the MTS situation first Rauch insisted that he submit his questions in advance and then through a staff person informed Logan he was "unavailable." LOL! Eric Braeden released in statement which was in the latest edition of CBS Soaps In Depth in which he blasted the show for even thinking of letting MTS go. And said not only would it be a profound personal loss for him but it would be a "disaster" for the show. Pretty strong words! Fortunately the show blinked and MTS re-signed. LoL @ John Driscoll's character being called "Chance" instead of Phillip. That's good. Too many Phillip's on one show gets damn confusing! Plus, the name Chance is rather sexy, so I approve. As for the "major recast," if it's not for Mac, it's gotta be Victoria. The Colleen/Phyllis scenes in the audition script screamed "Victoria." Heather? Not so much. I think they should just dump that sanctimonious bitch altogether.

Current Soap Rankings Days & GH	I think Muhney did a good job, showed potential. But it's really too early to tell. And I dig Vail Bloom too, I hope they're not recasting her. The only one on this show in need of dire recasting is Clementine Ford. edit: Or, as Kenny said, Victoria. So, two people on the show in need of dire recasting. I mean, it's hot to think about, but that's kind of a hard thing to prove. I want proof. Hot naked photo proof! :P I could go outside right now and fuck a "virgin" hooker but his rectal prolapse might tell a different story re: purity, LoL.

I mean, who are they going to put her in a story with? Luis... er, Rafe? Chad and Nathan? Melanie? (OMG, Merly!) As for Reckell, I have to laugh at him admitting that he had no lead story last year yet he's nominated for Lead Actor.
