Sources confirm that she was let go due to protests from the actress about her character's role in the upcoming Kyle/Fish gay storyline. "Carlotta was supposed to have a small role in the upcoming 'Kish' storyline. She objected to Carlotta's positive attitude about homosexuality, saying it conflicted with her personal beliefs." The role of Carlotta was recast with Saundra Santiago (ex-Carmen, GL). Her first tape date was Friday, June 26th. Source: DC

I'm sure there are tons of things that go against your beliefs...does being unemployed help those beliefs in this economy. Good Riddance I say! Oh...the thought SS/AM/RS storyline
