http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/06/days-hunk-trevor-donovan-joins-90210.html ‘90210’ exclusive: ‘Days’ hunk Trevor Donovan cast as model citizen Jun 29, 2009, 11:25 AM | by Michael Ausiello No disrespect to Dustin Milligan, but, um, er… Ethan who? 90210 has tapped Abercrombie & Fitch model-turned-soap star Trevor Donovan to fill the show’s golden boy vacancy, sources confirm to me exclusively. The genetically blessed Donovan, who channeled Days of Our Lives bad boy Jeremy Horton for four months in 2007, will play Teddy, West Beverly’s own version of JFK Jr. Gorgeous, smart, athletic, charming, and naturally confident, Teddy has the unique ability to make any girl feel like she’s the most beautiful person in the room. And any guy like he’s a cross between Shrek and Jiminy Glick. Donovan, whose 90210 gig is described as heavily recurring, will debut early into the show's upcoming second season. |

YES! I know I'm his only fan, but I love him and from interviews he seems very humble etc. Not to mention he is pretty damn perfect looking. Looks like I'll have to watch season two. :) |

Oh, lord. I will say, in his defense though, he did start improving towards the very end of his DAYS run. |

You're not the only one who liked him. Good for Trevor. I don't watch the new 90210 but I love this if only for how much it will piss off Marcus Patrick. |

Looks like the show finally found their Steve. I think Donovan will be able to pull the role off.

I can't believe people are really this upset about the casting. On a daytime show where there are veteran actors and actresses, Donovan lost his way. But on a high school drama, he's perfect. You don't need much acting experience to be on any of The CW shows.

My only real problem with this casting is I think he's way too old to be playing a high school student. |

I know Mason! He's 29! Although, as others have pointed out, hello Luke Perry and Gabrielle Carteris! But I agree with you. He's almost perfect casting for a show like 90210. Model with sub-par acting skills. Meh. Maybe he'll be alright. I think a lot of my dislike for him stemmed from the way they made the son of a legacy character into such an unlikable character. And yeah, the show may finally found it's "Steve" |

He grew on me toward the end. It's not his fault the writing sucked! I think primetime soap is much more his speed. Excited for this! |
