Maybe there won't be a Final 2 at all this year. Maybe they're doing the first ever Final 3 and the final HOH is to decide who gets the extra jury vote.
Hmm.. I think they would have told us that by now. Unless they quickly did this, because they want to keep Jordan in the finals.

I guess I wouldn't mind that, as long as we get a good and grilling jury Q/A. :D I wanna see Natalie and Kevin suffer.

I am so excited that Danielle and Janelle will be back on Thursday! Two of my favorite players ever... back on TV again. I can't wait! I only wish they could go back into the house, LoL.

Wow, I love this!

OMG I just remembered James from BB6! LOL!
James... I loved him. :)

I'm thinking that we'll see a taped part at the start of the finale, where the final round of the HoH plays out. After Thursday's second part, perhaps the third will play out sometime Friday or Sat, then the last juror leaves for the jury house and on Tuesday we see the results. Does that makes sense? lol

`Big Brother' gaining in viewers

CBS is nearing summer's end as the only major broadcaster with more viewers than last summer, helped in part by a revived "Big Brother" franchise.

Three separate prime-time "Big Brother" episodes were among Nielsen Media Research's 25 most-watched programs last week. The series that throws a group of strangers together in a house and films their every move is in its 11th edition, and viewership is up 7 percent from last year.

That defies traditional TV gravity; it's rare that a long-running program would show growth. The series mined the latest reality TV star known more for bad behavior than anything else: Chima Simone was kicked off for disobeying producers' orders to put on a microphone, then throwing the microphone in a spa. She also apologized for calling a cast member of Lebanese descent a terrorist.

CBS viewership is up 5 percent over last summer, Nielsen said.

No wonder that, with a week to go for this season's "Big Brother," CBS on Wednesday announced that a 12th edition of the series will be broadcast in summer 2010.

BIG BROTHER concludes its 11th edition with a special two-hour LIVE finale and reunion show, hosted by Julie Chen, next Tuesday, Sept. 15 (9:00-11:00 PM ET/delayed PT) as the Final Three (Jordan, Kevin and Natalie) face off for the $500,000 grand prize.
So the final three will still be in the house on Tuesday!
Seeee! I told you. And, you doubted me :P

I think the jury discussion (Q&A) will all be done live. They gotta fill two hours with a lot.

YAY for BB12

^^That's what I'm assuming as well. We'll see the last HG's evicted first thing Tuesday(obviously taped from over the weekend, and the rest will play out live. That gives the last jury member time to 'review' with the other jury over the weekend.

Glad that BB got picked up as well. Who would have ever thought back in 2000 we'd still be here all these years later?!?!

Season one was shit. I definitely didn't think BB would last this long. Season two really did a lot for the show, great cast and a lot of positive changes.

Now that the season is over, it's kind of interesting to look back on our first impressions to see how wrong we were.

Back in early July when the cast was first revealed on The Early Show, I thought I would love Lydia, Ronnie, Natalie and Chima... and I ended up hating them all. Remember when Lydia was everyone's pre-show favorite? Meanwhile, I thought I would hate Casey, Laura, Braden and Russell... and they're some of the ones I enjoyed more than all the rest.

I also thought Jeff would be the boring wallflower of the season (like BB8's Mike) while Kevin would be the crazy over-the-top character, and both of those judgments were wrong as well. Jeff ended up being a main "character" while Kevin didn't develop a personality in the house until Final 5.

The only first impression I was right about was Jordan.

Natalie is scared of water so this IS good.
Is she? Or is that just another one of her lies?

Out of pure curiosity, what happened that made Season 1 so bad?

And LOL my first impressions were 99% wrong in the first episode...only thing I think I got right was wondering if Natalie's lies would get her this far.

In Season 1, they didn't have HOH or POV. The public voted the houseguests out the first year. As a result, everyone put on a bunch of fake nice personalities so America would like them and it made for a very boring cast. Plus, there wasn't any scheming or strategizing because there was no HOH to nominate people, no POV for backdooring people...

It was a complete snoozer.

Season 2 is when they changed the game by introducing HOH and having the houseguests vote each other out. POV was introduced in Season 3. Those two seasons are largely considered the best of the best. The show was still fresh back then, still finding itself... it was very exciting, even though the casts were a little less outrageous back then than they are now.
