I wasn't gonna watch tonight but now I'm over the moon that I did! Yay for Jordan winning! I was cheering so loud I think my neighbors heard me. Natalie needs to STFU with her excuses. Nobody gives a rat's ass about why or how she fucks up! We're just glad she does. Lydia calling Natalie out on her performance of the HoH was ingenious. I love how the jury house hates Natalie as much as we do! Too bad they didn't get a clue while they were in the BB house. They could have spared us so much aggravation. I liked seeing the past BB peeps. Didn't like what Danielle said about Natalie. I don't want that bitch to even win a dollar. Overall tonight was a good show, my tv was safe tonight, and I can't wait for Tuesday!

After hearing the past players talk, I do think that Chima behaving like a child was the biggest mistake in the game. Sure Jeff putting Russell up was huge, but damn Chima.. you are that pissed off that you chance the $500,000. Although, I am glad she is long gone.

Ha ha! Natlie. No one wants to hear your damn excuses on losing to Jordan and telling Kevin how you could stay on that damn log all night.

I was really hoping to see Michelle go to the jury house. Speaking of, I totally expected Jeff to come in saying Technotronics! Love the continued Natalie hate and that it appeared the jurors are getting along. But, Jeff is again delusional if you think that Kevin is the next out.

You didn't know? Jeff is the new HoH of the jury house and gets to pick who shows up next.

Just did the show with Ross. We had so much fun, and I finally got to dog Natalie out, just like I had wanted 2 on the show 2night!
I'll post a link to the interview when it's up tomorrow. :)

I was very disappointed that Janie didn't get to say her peace about Natalie on the show.

Hello hello! Guess where I was tonight??

Here is a very detailed writeup... hope it's not too detailed! Feel free to ask any questions. I had a great time!

So - I put my name in for tickets at the beginning of the season, when I realized there would be a studio audience. I got an email over the weekend that seats had opened up for Tuesday's show. I went on Tuesday and waited for almost 2 hours standing in line, only to be told that they were full. However, they said to call on Wednesday and that they would give me a guaranteed ticket for the finale. I called yesterday, and... guaranteed ticket for tonight. Oh well! Still, 'guaranteed ticket' sounded much better than 'waiting 2 hours in the heat'.

I actually got there a bit late tonight (horrible traffic), but it was in fact a guaranteed ticket, and I got right in. Security is very tight there, metal detector, they take your photo, bag searches, the whole thing. After that was done, they walked all of us through the CBS lot to the Big Brother studio. On the way, we passed many of the props and sets used in the show. (Cameras and cell phones are very strictly not allowed, sadly - so no pics.) I saw the log from the HoH competition! It looked and felt like a regular tree log. I also saw some of the boutique sets from the fashion comp.

As we were walking to the set, a more observant member of the group was like, "I see volleyballs that say Jessie'! We guessed (correctly!) that they were for tonight's comp.

It was funny, on Tuesday night waiting in line (without a cell phone), the whole group of us talked, and I really didn't agree with the others' opinions about the show, who they like, etc. But tonight's group was much more in line with all of us here, and we had a nice time talking as we walked to the set.

We entered the studio and they seated us. There is a strict dress code - no jeans, no white clothing (I think for the cameras), no clothes with logos, no hats. They definitely seated people by what they were wearing and who would be in the camera lines. Then once everyone was seated, they looked over the whole audience and moved people around a bit.

After we were seated, one of the producers came out and 'warmed up' the audience. He told us that "you can watch the show later, at home, but here you are part of the show." He reminded everyone about things like, please don't read the teleprompter along with Julie, look at Julie when she's talking (rather than at the monitors on the ceiling), don't wave, smile, things like that. Basically for those of you who watch sports - he didn't want us to be the idiots in the crowd waving on camera when they realize they're on TV.

Then they did BB trivia for the chance to win T-shirts. Don Wollman, one of the EP's, ran this part. First, he did a demo for us of the 'Big Brother voice' (that's him) - he picked someone in the audience, I think her name was Jennifer. He was like, "Jennifer, please come to the diary room." Then the trivia was pretty funny, because they let the audience give the person the answers if he/she didn't know. All of the questions were about this season. The entire audience were huge fans, because everyone knew every answer.

After the trivia was done, Julie came in and they rehearsed the "cold open" (the part until she says "Welcome... to Big Brother.") She looked great! Not as big in person, but she did look a little uncomfortable at times, like when she sat down. She has a whole staff of women buzzing around her - a makeup lady and fashion lady were fixing her up till like 20 seconds to air. She was very sweet and smiled and waved to us a lot.

After the rehearsal, there were a few minutes to air, and the stage manager talked to us about the show. It was pretty interesting - it seems like they totally realize that everyone hates Natalie, lol. He asked for a show of hands for who we want to win. He talked a little about the 'closet Jessie fans' out there, lol. He mentioned Jeff a lot - I bet the producers were VERY sad to see him go.

Then, the show started! They kept reminding us, look at Julie, don't look up at the monitors. They tell you when to applaud and when to stop. During the 'packages' (pretaped segments), we watched on the monitors. Julie had her own monitor and director's chair where she sat and watched as well. She seemed as into it as we were, like at one point they tried to talk to her, but she motioned that she was watching. I think she enjoys it and she feels she needs to follow it to properly host the show.

She had all of the 'choreography' down perfectly, like which camera to look at (it says that on the teleprompter anyway), when to move to a different part of the stage, etc. They have the floor taped with where she should stand. At the end of each pretaped segment, about 30 seconds before it was over, the stage manager would come out and tell us to bring our eyes back down to Julie, that we could watch the rest at home later (lol). They don't want the show to return from the taped part to have everyone in the audience looking at the ceiling.

The part with the previous HG's interview seemed to go very quickly. They look much better in person - I saw the pic earlier in the thread. Janelle in particular got a lot of waves and whistles from the audience. Dick really has 'stage presence', like he seemed very at home in an interview setting. Julie had a fixed amount of time (I think three minutes) to do the interviews, and the stage manager held up cue cards for her with the time remaining. (Like he had a small card that said 2:30, then he held up another card that said 2:00, etc.) At the end he made a signal for her to 'wrap it up'. You could tell that Julie's done many interviews - she was very smooth thinking on her feet, and she was able to end it in the appropriate amount of time.

During the commercial break before the HoH competition, they told us that there is a NO BOOING rule. (Guess why, haha.) They said we don't have to clap if we don't want to, but we cannot boo. So, as I think you saw, it was silent during Natalie's attempt, lol. In the commercial after that, we were all so excited that she did poorly. It was interesting, the stage manager had his own gameboard he filled in as the show was going on. They had a monitor in front of him with a tight shot of the volleyballs, and he had like paperclips and post it notes with the correct answers in order. He quickly put a card under each with the HG's name that was on the volleyball in that slot. That way, he could quickly tally the results for Julie. Then he held a notecard next to the teleprompter with the number, so for Natalie it was 5. Julie was very smooth and said, "Natalie got 5 correct..." I was very impressed by the system - that can't be easy!

It was funny, before Jordan's try, the stage manager looked at us and was like, "Any chance she'll win??" We all said we hope so! He sounded like he wasn't so sure at all. Needless to say, as you heard on the show, we were SO excited that she did so well! (Yay!)

During the commercial break after that, there was a staff working on computers on the side who quickly typed a teleprompter script for Julie, and she ran through it with them, since they couldn't have written it beforehand as they didn't know who would win. The script leaves room for "RESPONSE" from the HG's, and Julie did adlib some as well.

And then the show ended! That's about it! I think they're VERY happy that Jordan beat Natalie. The production team really knew that we were all rooting for her.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks, Ellie! That was too cool that you were able to go tonight. I'm glad you had a great time. Too bad it wasn't Tuesday though. Then you could give Natalie a good slap in the face for me and the other Natalie haters, lol.

I'm so excited that you were there, Ellie! I kept thinking about you during tonight's show, LoL.

I love that the producers seem to hate Natalie just as much as we do. That's awesome. I could tell that tonight's audience was full of Gnat haters because her HOH attempt was dead silent and Jordan received claps every time she made a shot, LoL. That was great. As for the audience on Tuesday night... WTF? No wonder that episode was wonky, LoL. The audience was full of crazies!

Thanks for the write-up! Very interesting stuff. I'm jealous that you got to see Janie in person! And hear Don Wollman speak! LoL.

Haha totally - we were all really rooting for her. We were happy they let us clap when she did well.

You're welcome!! I know, everyone is so united in hating her, haha.

Oh I forgot to say - it was fun watching the pretaped parts in a big audience, because they let us cheer (and boo) as much as we wanted, since the studio mikes are off for that. When Kevin swore on "everything he has" that he would take Natalie to the F2, and then they cut right to his saying "my word means nothing", we all laughed and cheered. It was great. :D

I KNOW! I was totally wondering why Michele didn't get a standing O (I felt she deserved one) but now I understand why. Thanks for all the insights! And it's SO cool that you got to be there when Janelle, Danielle, Dick, and Boogie were interviewed. Some of the BB greats! Screw the finale! (this F3 sucks ass anyway)

But I must say YAYYYYYYY for Jordan. At least Thursday will have some suspense to it now.

And finally, I've gotta give it to the producers- though I'm not sure it will work, keeping the 3 until finale night was a bold, brilliant, but risky move and it looks like it's gonna pay off. Kudos, Grodner & Co.

^^ You're welcome!! I totally agree, I think the 'keep them all till Tuesday' is a great move. I'm sure it was largely motivated by having Jordan there for ratings, but I think in terms of strategy, it will be VERY interesting as well.

Oh and in terms of the show itself, my favorite moment (aside from Jordan winning) was when Natalie was whining to Julie about how she lost and "it's a mental competition", and Julie was like, "It's mental and physical", or something like that. Total smackdown! And it was an adlib, lol.

Oh one random detail I forgot, lol - we saw the garden (that Jeff watered) outside the studio with the rest of the props. It's totally dead and withered now. Guess no one wanted to take over for Jeff!
