What a cheap, cheesy ass promo. Seriously, it's like they just randomly showed up a park and decided on a whim to play volleyball and shoot a "promo" because someone happened to have a camera in their pocket. LoL @ them using that same cheap ass song they used last summer. Thanks, Angie! Muah! |

This is no surprise since I loved the one last year but I LOVED this promo. I was eagerly awaiting this because of all the pictures and interviews we've seen from this shoot. I continue to like the song they used. EJ/Nicole looked adorable and how cute was Joe Mascolo with the rope in his mouth behind Ari? I love the idea of seeing all the couples and people involved in story together interacting in a fun setting. I also like that we see family relationships in display too like Caroline with Bo, Hope, and Ciara, Little Theo in the middle of everything, Roman and Sami hugging, and Maggie being embraced by both Nathan and Lucas. I also loved Lucas and Daniel taking off their shirts and doing a pull up competition for Chloe LOL. The only thing I didn't like was the part where we saw Kate by herself throwing a ball or something similar (couldn't make it out for some reason). That looked so random and she did not look like she wanted to be there LOL. Nice having the whole cast involved, especially characters like Victor, Stefano, Maggie, Caroline, Abe, and Lexie who are never a part of shoots like these usually. I hope they do more of these with the whole cast. It's nice. So nice seeing all the couples and potential new couples together too. Brady/Arianna looked cute in the promo (still not on board with them yet) and Nathan/Melanie, Sami/Rafe, and Philip/Stephanie looked great. Bo and Hope were awesome together as always. Really good promo though. Had a youthful energy to it, which is what they are going for. Now I hope they do what they did last year and air this alot during the show in the next few weeks and that they add story tags later like they did last year to promote what will happen. LMAO Nubia. Stefano was awesome in this promo. Joe seemed to have a blast. It was hilarious the way he looked at Ari with the rope in his mouth. I also think you can see it as more of a cast promo then an actual story promo. It came off more like a way of endearing the show and it's current cast to the show's target audience. If and when they add story tags to it like they did last year, then it will become more of a story/show promo. |

Maybe to you but to others I know it does. The one that aired last year got 3 of my co-workers at work to watch it (I usually watche Days in the coffee room at work on my lunch LOL) and they aren't even the show's current target audience. They are both in there mid-30's and it caught their attention. Of course, the one they saw had the story tags with it but still. |
